What a great weekend, as my birthday celebration continued. I had a surprise or aka adventure planned by my husband and what do you know, we went 3,000-5,000 feet up into the air in a big hot air balloon 🙂 I was a little nervous but it really was a great time and so pretty. Such a great night out and a perfect evening to float in the sky! 🙂 The weekend really was a blast and I wish every birthday fell on a weekend 😉
Feeling very grateful and appreciative for everything in my life, the people surrounding me, my beautiful clients, each and every one of you following my journey, my family, friends and everything life has to offer. We really are so lucky to be healthy, fit and here right here, right now…
My energy has been fantastic, I am convinced the 2nd trimester is truly just as I hear and ready, the best trimester of the 3. I am enjoying having my energy, fitting into my clothes (lol) and having my food aversions fade away. Stir-fry’s and omelets are still high on my list but things are sounding better and better with each day. Still eating healthy, balanced and staying active and feel great.
On our adventure, I was surprised to see that my jeans are still fitting but definitely a bit tighter than normal! By the end of the hot air balloon ride, I had casually had them unbuttoned. I think that was the last time I will be seeing myself in them for several months. It is definitely interesting to watch this transformation. Body getting softer and softer, clothes getting higher and scale slowly rising… As long as it is a slow and steady pace, this is all part of my Beautiful, Healthy and Fit Pregnancy. Defintiely learning to embrace and flaunt those baby curves!

Both days got in 50 minutes of incline walking on the treadmill and no weight training. My swim/weight training (circuit training) session begin again tomorrow…
