This weekend, try something you haven’t tried! Maybe you try a new recipe (the new Lifestyle Balanced Recipe Book is out so maybe you give one a try). Maybe you take a trip to your local farmers market and find something that you have never heard of or tried before and give that a try! There is something very common called “diet boredom” and extremely common when your regimen is specific and routine. We work so hard to make healthy choices and get ourselves into a healthy routine. Sometimes to keep it simple, we lack variety. When you find yourself in a rut or maybe a little bored, it is time to try something new and spice up your food.
A few ways to spice up your eating choices and escape boredom:
-Change the types of food you eat or how you prepare different dishes. There are a million ways to prepare protein, maybe you try to broil instead of bake or grill instead of broil.
-Try to vary your choices over the weekends, when you may have a little more time. There are so many fun and create recipes here in the Network, give one a try and have fun with your cooking!
