Did you ever think there would be such a thing as a positive thing about a craving? We are talking about that deep and strong desire for something. Sometimes our logical minds just can’t resist the temptation. We tend to think cravings can get the best of us and are constantly working on how to deal with them but what if you were to embrace those cravings? When we are speaking about cravings, today we are speaking about going after what your heart desires, that deep strong desire for something you are seeking in life! When it comes to craving something that may not be on your nutritional program, cravings may not be your best friend but when it comes to craving something in life that you have this burning desire to do or see, you may have to go for it!!
Is there something in your life that you have been craving? Maybe it is the desire to learn a new skill, try a new career, travel to one of your favorite destinations, etc. There are so many things that we crave yet often, it is our minds that may hold us from following through. Why is it that when it comes to a food craving, our mind may not be so resilient but when it comes to life, often our minds tend to hold us back?! As much as we are learning to deviate from certain cravings, we need to learn to embrace other cravings, following our heart and giving in to that burning desire and craving we have to do something different! When you find something you are passionate about and your heart is speaking to you, you must Observe, Listen and Embrace that feeling. Rethink Cravings, for a minute, and learn that not ALL cravings are those you want to avoid. Pick and choose which cravings should be avoided and which should be acted upon….
