NOTE:Makes 12-16 bars
Ingredients:
1/4 c. sliced almonds
1/4 c. water
1 1/2 c. all natural almond butter
1/4 c. sugar free syrup
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (or any flavor)
2 cups regular or quick oats
Directions:
In a small, microwave safe bowl (or a saucepan), Microwave water for 1 minute or until boiled.
Meanwhile in a food processor, combine the almond butter and sugar-free syrup; process until blended. Add the protein powder; process again until blended. Add the, oatmeal water, almonds and seeds; pulse on and off until mixture cling together. Slowly add water, to food processor to get the desired consistency.  Some may not prefer to use all the water, if you like a thicker bar! 🙂
To make bars: Line a 9-inch square pan with wax paper or parchment paper, then press mixture into an even layer. To serve, cut into 16 bars.
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Wrapped individually to be used as healthy snacks on to go!!
