Hope everyone had a great day! The sun finally came out in SD so that brightened up my day that much more! I am headed out the door to yoga, after a really busy day so I am signing off until tomorrow!
Started my day with a walk with Bruno then Got in a great shoulder workout:
machine press, shoulder press and straight bar press, all 3 sets of 15
dumbbell side laterals
dumbbell front raises
and finished up with 100 flutter kicks, 100 leg leavers and 100 regular floor crunches for abs!
and now Yoga so it was a very well rounded day, in between my clients and working online. Great way to end the day than a hot power yoga class! I am loving these classes and they are really helping to keep me centered and allowing myself to learn to breath and stay focused on the moment. It can be so hard to shed our daily thoughts and things to do so when we can learn to tune everything out and be present it is huge! The more we can practice this (and it is hard and takes lots of practice) the more we can use it in our daily lives! My goal has been yoga 1x/week and am doing well with it. Thinking of bumping that up to more than once a week, when I can!
I was on the go and with not much time to cook and prepare, I have been having more shakes than I like. I had shakes and 1/2 c. oatmeal for my 1st, 3rd and 4th meal with my 2nd being an egg white/veggie omelet with 1 /2 c. brown rice. I am headed out the door and don’t like to go to yoga on a full stomach so looks like today my meals down one, hitting only 6. Usually I get in 7 but 6 is still just fine 😉 Gotta roll with the punches and take each day as it comes.
