Today marks the start date of our 21 day challenge! Are you excited? Have you decided what that challenge is going to be? For some it is early morning cardio, for some 21 days of yoga and for others it may be something not fitness related. Whatever it may be, we have 21 days to see things through, day in and day out, and commit ourselves to 21 days. With Yoga as one of our several challenges, brings up the topic of flexibility… When we discuss flexibility, the question is not only how flexible are you physically but mentally!? Just as important as gaining physical flexibility, how is your flexibility with your schedule and planning? When you prepare and plan, are you set in your ways or do you adapt to change well? As we continue on this lifestyle program, flexibility is a huge component to overall success. If change and being flexible stresses you out, that can be holding you back! If change and flexibility causes anxiety in your world, this could be detrimental to reaching your goals! Things happen and life is often unpredictable so we must learn to cope and deal with change, being flexible and responsive to change. Our 21 day challenge is going to force upon us this ideal of flexibility. You are committing yourself to a challenge that may cause a little bit more planning than usual but regardless of what comes up, you may have to be a little bit more flexible with things in order to commit and follow through with your challenge. Allow this challenge to test your mental strength and also how susceptible you are to change and the ability to being flexible!
