Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!! Hope everyone is already celebrating your day of Love!!! Love is in the air…. The shower, yesterday, was a blast and love is in the air in SF! 🙂 Below is a photo of one of my girlfriends, Christine and me, from childhood. We literally have been friends since we were born. Our parents were the best of friends and so we have grown up together and been a part of each others lives from the baby years until now 25 years later. Amazing and I feel so fortunate to have those relationships!

It was such a great time to see everyone and celebrate the start of my wedding celebration! We got a ton of photos I will post when I get home. I had three of my childhood girlfriends, including Christine–in the photo above– Christine’s Mom, my aunt and several of Michael’s relatives and my future in laws! It was really a great time. The weather was beautiful and it was such a perfect day! Ericka, my future sister in law put on a beautiful shower. She went to school for design so her attention to detail was superb and out of this world, you will see photos. She had delicious food and made me a beautiful chicken breast and grilled asparagus plate (just for me). Funny thing is everyone wanted my food… funny how people think they need to cook a certain way, for “normal people” but when those people see your food, they want it… when it is cooked right — our way– of course! People just don’t understand how amazing you can make your food!! When they see and smell our delicious way to prepare healthy food, suddenly everyone wants it. Ericka made a Cesar salad, Pasta platter, and garlic bread for the party and funny how everyone was asking where the chicken and asparagus was… just interesting! When you have a party, of course it is smart to have a few items for those that are really oppose to our types of food but really I believe if you prepare a few healthy dishes, our style, people will love them and have no idea they were made “gina approved”. My experiences, everyone is always ahhhhing and oooing over my food when it is the healthiest of them all. Interesting…
Anyways, just always fun to analyze and see peoples reactions to food.
Not to mention, I ate a big plate of grilled chicken and asparagus and everyone else had a bird size plate. If they only knew they could eat so much more with the right food, ehhh….
I have more to share about the weekend, just wanted to fill you in and wish everyone a beautiful Valentine’s Day!!
Happy Valentine’s!! Love from SF to everyone!!!
Big Valentine’s Hugs!!
