Happy Memorial Day! Hope everyone had a nice weekend. The weather doesn’t get much better than this! It has been gorgeous all weekend and looks to continue today! We had a successful show with two of my clients (Megan and Brianne) placing first and one girl, who I worked with in the past on posing and had out for a retreat, you may remember her– Heather Dees, won the Overall. You can tell it was a great show and the girls did amazing! I am so proud of you girls for all your hard work and presenting yourself beautifully onstage!

It was a late night, getting back to the room around 11:15 and crashing as soon as my head hit the pillow. It is amazing how by the end of the night, after the shows, I am literally delirious and can hardly keep my eyes open! Crazy how even when you are not being physically active, mental activity is just as tiring and can wear you just as much!!
Made it home early yesterday morning, woke up around my usual 5 a.m. time, hit the road. I absolutely love getting up and getting on the road early. Hardly anyone on the road, sun starting to come up, listen to some tunes and just have some Me time! Gotta love that little bit of time we have, every now and then, to just think, take in the site seeing, sing with no one listening, sipping on coffee and enjoying the start of a fresh day! 🙂 I got home around 7:30 and literally pulled in right in front of Michael! I offered to make breakfast but we decided to head out and grab Breakfast before getting Bruno at the dog trainers. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, egg white salmon omelet with pesto, tomatoes and asparagus!! 🙂 Yesterday, we spend the day just laying low. He had been up throughout the night and from my long weekend, we decided to stay around the house and got in a really long nap. Couldn’t believe how tired I still was and how beat he was. I got in a 2 hour nap and him at least 3! Well rested and ready for the day!
Love those days to get r&r!! With such a go go go mentality and lifestyle, it is so nice to scale down a bit and do quite the opposite! 😉 Re energize the bunny and recharge the battery!
I have decided to take a few clients this a.m. so will be headed out to the gym for clients and my circuit training in a bit. Enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend and be grateful for what you have right now. There are so many that have stood up for our country and it is important for us to be grateful for their strength and bravery and remembering that each moment is so precious!
