Good Morning Ladies!! Friday it is and October 1st, wow!!! October already! Just crazy! Remember when we were talking about new goals for 2010? Our time is coming up pretty quick to start reflecting on a new year, can you believe that? New goals for 2011! Humm… more on that later because as for now we are still digging deep to take on our goals for the rest of the year!
Hope everyone slept well and is ready for their weekend! Once again woke up with the owls and wondering if my natural alarm clock has shifted an hour… Hummm I will give myself a few weeks to see if this is going to be a pattern…
TODAY I WILL BE PULLING THE NAME FOR THE IPOD TOUCH… CHECK BACK FOR RESULTS. ENTRIES DUE BY NOON P.S.T, IN CASE THERE ARE ANY LATE ONES…. 😉
Today I want you to think about how you are building and creating your body and mind that you are striving for! You can imagine a garden… In order for a garden to grow and to become the beautiful paradise it is, there is a lot of work that must be placed in its cultivation (planning out your garden, properly planting the seeds or flowers, watering, grooming, fertilizing and allowing proper sunlight!! Now think about yourself in terms of this garden you are creating!! In order to create your personal goals and body and mind that you are envisioning, you have to properly groom yourself! Plan out your plan of attack, properly building the foundation and prepare yourself with all the essential tools to groom your garden (mentally and physically) and then properly paper its growth! Once you plan the seed in your head that you are ready and eager to take on the challenge of becoming MRS. Green Thumb, you must then cater to that seed and with proper maintenance and patience, allow your garden to grow!! The water (proper fluids, nutrients and supplementation), grooming (consistent proper training and cardiovascular program), fertilizing (continuous positive mindfulness, thinking, stimulation, and a support system) and sunlight (rest and recuperation), you have all your tools to allow your garden to grow and become the most beautiful garden you have ever seen!
You have to see your garden, believe in it and then properly cultivate!! Remember, your garden will not grow over night and if one element is not implemented, your garden will either degenerate, not take root or significantly stunt its growth! Not to say a degenerated garden can not be brought back to life but you are altering its progression if one of the tools is not utilized properly! You have your bag of garden tools and they just have to be put to use and your garden needs consistently pampering.
Who wants a garden that is covered over in weeds, dull in color or simply bare of fresh vibrant colors??? I am sure that is not the garden you would visit, right?? I am sure you are seeking that garden that is full of life, energy, yet holds a place of calmness and serenity! That is exactly the garden you are creating today! With all your proper tools, just take it one day at a time, keep your goal in the forefront of your mind, plant, and allow to cultivate.
Think about what you are feeding your garden from your positive thoughts to the nutrients you are giving yourself. Would you water your flowers with Soda or give your garden fertilizer of ground up potato chips??? What kind of garden would you create if you did!? Is this the garden you want to create??? Think about how you would treat and nourish the garden of your dreams, that is YOU… now nourish yourself the same way and let’s move forward with this inner garden mentality this month!!
As you go on with your day and with this month, think about that garden that you are creating and how you would cater to it, in order to grow the most beautiful garden you have ever seen! You have the ability to create whatever it is you see in your head! With the right bag of gardening tools, if you see it, you can create it!!!
Let’s help each other allow our garden grow…

Watch your thoughts; they lead to attitudes.
Watch your attitudes; they lead to words.
Watch your words; they lead to actions.
Watch your actions; they lead to habits.
Watch your habits; they form your character.
Watch your character; it determines your destiny.

What does your garden look like??
