My inspiration to stay in shape is to constantly try to better myself. This lifestyle isn’t just about the outside or aesthetics. It’s about becoming a more empowered woman/man… Becoming an extraordinary version of ourselves… To be in constant competition with who we were yesterday… I stay in shape, for a better me.
Love this Yesenia!!! 🙂
Beautiful yesenia!
My inspiration to be in shape and to stay in shape would have to be the fact that i have seen both sides going from in shape to really falling off the wagon and damaging my body from the inside out not knowing to getting in the best shape of my life that i never knew could be possible and feeling so great inside and out. It inspires me to know myself even better to know that i can accomplish anything i set my mind to so being in shape and shaping a better me everyday strengthens my mind body and soul. Its learning the lifestyle and enjoying every minute of it. Its seeing my baby girl learning what is better for her and whats not its an example to your family that you can become what you put your mind to and becoming healthy and the best you is obtainable you just have to want it deep with in from you heart and soul. Once its obtained then you just want more because you love the way you feel you love the way your skin looks and feels your energy is at its best. Your over all is glemming around others helping them want to feel what you feel…. as i see this around me it inspires me to cont. to be a better me and try to improve each day ultimately being in shape and improving your shape each day is sought eagerly through the greatness of how it makes you feel healthy and thats how i like to feel and stay feeling everyday is healthy. 🙂
My inspiration to stay in shape is my health. I don’t ever want to be that statistic of dying from some disease because of being obese or taking a bunch of pills because I chose to eat greasy and fatty fast food everyday. I want to take care of my body!
My motivation comes from 2 places. I am a mom of 5 kids and I want to be an active player in their lives. I have coached soccer teams for my oldest daughter and hope to do the same for my younger kids. Leading a healthy and fit life is something I want to teach them by example. Secondly, my career before being a stay home mommy was as an ER nurse. So I love to help people. I want to study to be a nutrition and wellness coach. I have worked saving the lives of people who have NOT taken care of themself. It would be even more rewarding to lead by example again, and help PREVENT people from needing an ER nurse.
My inspiration to stay fit and healthy has always been sports and athletics. I am a competitive person and am involved in many sports, primarily hockey. As you know hockey is a demanding activity that uses the anaerobic system, so this interval tool would be an amazing addition to my routine to help me stay in shape for season. I am expecting a baby any day now, and have been active throughout my pregnancy, even playing hockey (practicing) all season. The last month I have been less active than normal and am anxious to get back at it once the baby is born! My goal is not only to get back in shape quickly for upcoming hockey season, but to get in shape for my new inspiration, my daughter! I want to be healthy and fit to be able to keep up with her and be a positive role model for her throughout her years! 😀
My inspiration to get into better shape is health driven. As a two-time cancer survivor and celebrating 5 years of remission, my doctors and I feel that being healthy with my diet and exercise is the best way to remain in remission. I know what it’s like to not be able to be active and I want to enjoy and take advantage of my health while I still can! 🙂
My inspiration is seeing your yummy and healthy recipes on FB. I also know that you’re not just focused on the exercise/training side, but you are about the total person–which is what we need to focus on.
I want to be healthy to continue to help my parents (in their 80’s), train for my first figure competition. My motivation (really no joke) when I feel like quitting and saying “what’s the use” are people that did it and are doing it..just like you! 🙂
My inspiration to stay in shape is from myself seeing my body transform from a size 16 to a 5 was a accomplishment i am truely proud of. I am still transforming and molding this body of mine, physically i am in the best shape of my life in my 30s and still learning and DESIRE to keep going . I want to be the best version of myself! Being strong physically is the best feeling in the world, lifting those weights is a also a stress relief for me. Mentally i feel so good after my workouts, which helps me be a better mother for my kids and husband. I am also teaching my kids my healthy habits and living a healthy lifestyle. Pass on something i unfortunately didnt have growing up. Knowledge is power! So the journey continues…
Thank you Gina for your recipes, videos and advice. It is definately appreciated!
My inspiration is my family & to be the best version of myself I possibly can. I find being fit helps me be in a better frame of mind & keeps my body happy too.
My inspiration is seeing my body transforming back to the way it ways several years ago. Seeing that I can get back to where I was health & energy wise is so motivational to me. I am so glad to be back on the health track, eating better than I ever have and working out more often and trying new workouts all the time. I am finally ready to take the step that I started 12 years ago and take a class to become a personal trainer so that I can share my experiences & inspirations with others.

My inspiration is constantly beat myself, I love challenges and this besides being a challenge keeps me healthy and focused … and looking in the mirror, I see that progress slowly! that is the most motivating … besides that I feel too well in the Gym or doing athletics … just love the sport! 🙂
My inspiration to be fit & re-join Gina’s online network is to completely change my life and habits. I went from being svelt in the best shape of my life, to having a kid and going through a bad period in my life. I think sitting at 200lbs is enough motivation to want to get back to the way I was, not only for me, but for my son. I think about the times I said I was going to start, and then later down the road I think, if I only started then, i’d be this far along in my quest for healthiness. It’s very inspiring to see a network of women on here who all strive for the same end result, to be a healthier person on the inside and out. Here’s to my ultimate motivation and the rest of my HEALTHY life!

My inspiration to stay in shape, is my children and my overall health and happiness. I used to weigh a little over 220 lbs and was miserable and riddled with health issues. Currently Iam down to 140 and getting smaller everyday. In 2004, while 5 months pregnant with my youngest daughter, I suffered severe pain and had to have emergency surgery to remove my gallbladder that was riddled with gallstones. I was devastated as it was made quite clear to me that I could very well lose my child during surgery and even after surgery was completed. I will never forget the ultrasound they did prior to the operation, I sat there staring at the beautiful life inside of me with tears streaming down my face at the thought of losing my beautiful child. From that moment on, I vowed to never be in that position again, to change my life to be healthier and happier but most important to change my life for my children so that I could be there for every moment of their lives. I can never let myself get to that point of unhealthiness again. Everyday I remind myself of how lucky I am to be a mother, to be healthy and that I believed in myself enough that I never, ever gave up.
My inspiration is to stay healthy, I have been on the other side of battles with eating and food issues and that is my past. I need to keep looking forward and staying healthy for myself first and my family. If I am not healthy, I cannot be there for my family. So, they are my inspiration!

My biggest inspiration to stay healthy comes from my past. As a teenager and through most my 20’s I’d struggled a lot with self esteem. I never thought of myself as an attractive girl/woman. My weight was about 105lbs in 5’7 frame and I thought it was just fine.
It wasn’t till I started exercising first only aerobic classes and later weight’s lifting till I saw changes in my body. And they were a very good changes. I wasn’t anymore walking stick but a women with great healthy body. However, there were times when I struggled with keeping up healthy lifestyle. Simply over training myself and not keeping clean diet.
I’ve learn to balance my exercising habits. It is ok if I won’t go to the gym sometimes. Practicing hot vinyasa and bikram as well as mixing weight’s lifting with Pilates keeps me on my toes. I also learned making better choices regarding food and preparing at least some of my meals in advance.

Hmm, I have much inspiration, but sometimes lack the motivation to stay the course. To mention a few things that inspire: how I feel after a session of kettlebell training, especially if my trainer tells me I’m great and perform the exercises really well. Also, I’m inspired when I surprise myself by squatting 225lbs! To watch so many people realize their goals of becoming fitter/healthier, especially those people who suffered from low self esteem – because that is my main problem – I don’t believe in myself enough. Last but not least, I get inspired by the thought of being fit and healthy for the day my husband and I decide to have children…probably being a good role model is one of the greatest accomplishments.

My inspiration to stay in shape is to be a role model all the women I teach in my kettlebell classes. To show them that weightloss, eating healthy and feeling great about yourself are all attainable! It makes me so proud when I see the changes in them and to know that I had some small part of it!
