I hope everyone had a great start to the new year!! I had a wonderful day and the positive energy is in the air!
I got a ton of things done this morning with online programs, e-mails, etc. I took Bruno for a long walk/run 6miles!!
I took today off from the gym but got in the outdoor cardio, since it was a beautiful day! I was able to share with you my yam tips, check out the video!! Those are just a few of my yam tips 101… If you have any questions or want me to post other videos, I am always up for suggestions. One of my goals with the video updates is to do at least 2 videos a week, one fitness related and one nutritional based.
I went to Borders to read a bit and then to a farmers market. That was another on of my goals, to get to a farmers market once a week and buy organic food. I did just that today! One goal accomplished.
Off to make dinner and call it a night.
Here was my menu for today:
meal 1: protein shake, 1/2 c. oatmeal, 15 almonds
meal 2: 2 rice cakes with 1 tbsp almond butter, 6 egg whites
meal 3: 5 oz Ahi tuna with a giant salad and 3 oz yam
meal 4: yam muffin (made in my video)
meal 5: green bean/veggie omelet with salsa
meal 6: Protein pancake 🙂 — headed to make now
meal 7: 6 egg whites, 1 tbsp peanut butter before bed 🙂
It is going to be a a good year, I can feel it!
