Good Morning, Good Morning!! Hope everyone’s day is off to a fantabulous start! 😉 I am up rearing to go. Just got back from a short walk with the Brunski and now headed out the door to the gym. Oh my gosh, I am still sore for my Easter workout, those lunges were killer! I know a few of you gave the workout a try and rumor has it a few of you are still sore!! Londin, you poor thing, doing those lunges with 35# dumbbells in each hand rather than a 35# straight bar. Sorry on not being clear there, you must be dying!!! I am still sore and used the straight bar and you used 2 35# dumbbells! geezzzz…. Hope you are able to walk~! I posted a cicruit workout of the week yesterday, give that one a try too! These circuit workout are a great way to supplement any program or when you just feel like you have a little extra energy and want to get in another workout, maybe later in the day, go for it!!! You can even be doing it while watching your favorite show! I know several of you are mothers, may not have gym memberships, or have such a busy schedule that a home/circuit workout is perfect for you! Remember it doesn’t take much and you can get a killer workout in, in a very short amount of time!! Less is more, remember that… my famous words.
Yesterday I finally went and turned in my leased car so that is one more thing checked off the list– CHECK! We have been doing a lot of misc. housekeeping type work here in the Silva house. After being back from Mexico for a month now, been getting things reorganized as a Silva Family. You know all the consolidating docs, insurance, etc… things that just take time but once you tackle them, feels to good to place a big old check mark next to that item on you list! I am sure many of you are familiar with the TO DO LIST! I have to have a list and they keep me organized and on track. I never thought there would be someone who was so punctual with their lists until I met Michael, I call him the “list man”. He has lists upon lists! He not only has a daily list but a weekly and master list!! Yes, no joke, too funny… Mr. List Man! Anyways, Have my list ready for today and about to head out and begin checking things off!
Yesterday my workout was a more concentrated back/bi/ab workout :
3 sets of 15 reps
-one arm rows with 30# dumbbells
-seated rows-50#
-standing double rows with 15# dumbbells
-seated and standing bicep curls with 10# dumbbells — really concentrating and squeezing
-lying ab crunches– 3 sets of 75
-hanging leg raises- 3 sets of 10
Cardio consisted of 2-3 mile walks and no gym cardio.
Meals:
1- 1/2 c. crock pot oats
2- QUEST BAR
3- 5 egg white/veggie omelet with 1/2 c. rice pilaf
4- same as meal 3
5- 1 scoop shake, 1 rice cake with 1 tbsp natural almond butter
6-4 oz chicken with big salad and asparagus
7-5 egg white omelet with 1 tbsp almond butter over top! 🙂
I have my oats and shake digesting now and am about to pack my next two meals for the road:
meal 2—7 mini protein pancakes– gosh do I love that pancake pan!! (thanks again Jenn!!!)
meal 3—4 oz tilapia, 3 rice cakes and 20 almonds
