Good Morning!! Let’s talk about our goals this morning!!
Goals have been brought back up and what a great time to re-evaluate your goals, being that it is the 7th month of the year and we are moving into the second half of the year in full swing! First of all, how have your new year goals been going? Is it time to re-structure or redefine your goals? How specific are your goals! The first part of my S.M.A.R.T Goals approach is for “SPECIFIC”!! This needs to be initiated and understood from the start! If your goals are not specific, you will have a hard time knowing what you are striving for!! Are your goals detailed enough for you to reach them? We all have aspirations and we are better off for having made them. But if your goals are too vague or unstructured, you’ll find that attaining them is difficult. Wanting to lose 30 pounds is a wonderful goal, but you need a plan to get you on the right track. These things don’t happen overnight. Today, think about your goals and form a plan to achieve them. Write them down, chart your progress, refer to them as often as you need to stay on track, and most importantly, hold yourself accountable.
Let’s do this! Today really take a moment to think about ensuring your goals are SPECIFIC. If they are, great, if they are not, it is time to make the SPECIFIC!
