Did you replenish yourself last night?? How much sleep did you get last night? Most people don’t get enough sleep and it is so important for not only our ultimate goals but also our actions for days and your mood and brain cognition. Even just a slight shave of your sleep time affects your brain and causes fatigue. The lack of sleep can be the main reason your goals may be at a halt or you have been feeling extremely run down! Yes we all have factors of training, busy lives but sleep is a HUGE component that may be the reason or adding to the reason of your fatigue! Be sure to take advantage of Sleep and make it an essential part of your program! Just as important, if not more, as your training, cardio and nutritional plan Sleep is Key for everything to fall in place and for you to have the energy to keep your momentum going!
Not enough sleep can cause a disruption in your hormones and can affect your metabolism and process which can lead you to not achieving your goals!! Oh yes, those hormones play a huge role in your success, we all know that! Your fat cells respond to the food you eat differently, based on your hormones. Sleep loss affects the level of certain hormones, putting your body in a position to gain weight.
With all the training and breaking down of muscle tissue, sleep in imperative for our success in order to re-build the muscle we are striving for!! Remember too, if you are tired and not getting enough sleep, you can lose motivation beause you flat out just don’t have energy and feel run down!!
Try to get in at 8 hours of sleep!! Did you sleep enough last night? If not, let’s work on it!!!
