Today’s was a busy and successful day at at Show with the girls. Everyone did amazing and I am so proud of them!! Awaiting final Results tonight. Because of the busy day, limited cardio and most meals were on the go.
Workout: 3 mile walk with my dog
Menu:
Meal #1: 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/4 cup wheat bran, 6 egg whites (made with stevia and cinnamon) and coffee, of course
Meal #2: Quest Bar with organic apple
Meal #3: Zucchini, 6 egg whites, 1/4 cup oatmeal topped with hot sauce
Meal #4: Almond Broccoli Slaw and Chicken Nori Wraps
Meal #5: 4 oz chicken with 1 cucumber
Meal #6: Avocado Cauliflower Mashed (Taken on the go)
Meal #7: Protein shake with 1 tbsp chia seed
Wheat bran? Do you add this for the additional fiber?
HI Liz, Yes for the extra fiber and is loaded with iron, magnesium, manganese, niacin, phosphorus, zinc and vitamin B6 so it is a great addition to my oats, or by themselves!! 🙂 Love them!
If you are gluten intolerant, not the best choice but if you don’t have a sensitivity or intolerance, they are great!! 🙂
I love wheat bran and am psyched that it’s in my current plan! I just add a touch of hot water and some stevia and moosh it all up! Om nom nom
