Hope everyone is feeling the energy today!!! It is a BeAuTiFuL Day and the energy out there is unstoppable! Just got back from the gym. Had to get in a workout before hitting the road! Remember… TIP #1: when traveling, no matter what time “take off” is, be sure to get in a little something to start your travels off right. You will feel so much better! As for me, my “little something” turned into not being so little. I started cardio and ended up running 4 miles!!! 5 minute warm up and 4 mile run in 35 minutes!!!! woot woot!!
Then… continued on to the following 20 minute circuit:
5 alternating squats (squat with left, squat with right) then press with a 25# e-z bar
5 manmakers (off 5# dumbbells, push up, row with right arm, push up, row with left arm, push up, jump to hands, stand and press dumbbells)
15 assisted pull ups
repeat for 20 minutes… Got in about 10 rounds 🙂
Then… not done yet, YES another 1.5 mile run!!! woot woot
Post workout meal: 5 egg whites with parsley, diced tomatoes and 1 oz goat cheese with 1 slice Ezekiel Bread… Simple and so delicious! 🙂
FYI—- DID YOU KNOW THAT PARSLEY HAS LOADS OF IRON!!
Just got home, finishing up cooking some asparagus, packing bags, getting everything together and then hitting the road! Jess and I are on our way to Anaheim… Stay tuned for weekend updates!
