Several of us have moved our clocks forward and added an extra hour of brightness to our days. As a way to kick off this extra bit of light, here are a few things to do today to brighten up your day. Grab your to do list and simply see how much brighter your day can be! Here are 41 suggested things you can do today to make it not just good but great!
-Cuddle, take a few minutes to cuddle with a loved one (s).
-Take time to prepare yourself a fresh home cooked meal, maybe make one of our healthy recipes!
-Spend a few minutes meditating (maybe this is part of your challenge)
-Call an old friend and catch up or if you don’t have the time, send out a text sending your love.
-Send positive messages to 5 of your favorite people just because.
-Get dressed up and wear your one of your favorite outfits. Make yourself get jazzed up, even if you are laying low today. Dressing up just makes you feel great!
-Go outside, take a walk (long or short) and take in the fresh air.
-Listen to your favorite song and sing along, go for it just sing!
-Compliment someone today.
-Prepare yourself for your week, mentally by making your do do list and physically by getting all your meals ready to go.
-Cook, cook today for your upcoming week.
-Brew yourself a fresh cup of your favorite tea and just enjoy each sip.
-If you have animals, spend a some quality time just petting them.
-Take a relaxing Epsom or bubble bath.
-Go into your closet and get rid of at least 2 things you haven’t worn or are not going to wear again and donate them to someone who will. It is time for Spring Cleaning after all, isn’t it!?
-Put a mask on your face and cleanse.
-Enjoy an oz of rick dark chocolate. Yes embrace a bite of chocolate and enjoy the flavors of chocolate as you nibble each bite. See if that oz can last you at least 5 minutes.
-Take a stroll, not for exercise but just to stroll…
-Bring home fresh flowers or even just a single flour to add life and color to your home.
-Do something to get your heart rate up, something… go for a run, do body weight squats, jump rope, whatever it is just do something…

-Put an inspirational photo or quote on your computer desktop.
-Take time to enjoy one of your meals without being rushed. Enjoy each bite and see how long you can make your meal last.
-Light a candle and enjoy the aroma.
-Breath. Take a few minutes to embrace your breath and breath deeply.
-Take a moment to appreciate everything you have in your life and how lucky you are!

-Plan something exciting you are going to do for yourself this week. Something… anything!

-Say “hi” to 5 people today, just because.
-Make a point to smile at everyone you face today.
-Schedule a coffee or lunch date with a friend you have been meaning to connect with. Set the date.
-Learn a new word and use it throughout the week.
