Good Morning everyone!! 3 more days of 2009 and if you haven’t noticed, I have really been pushing you all to think about the new year and what it is you want to accomplish. I have posted a few pointers, tips and articles to help you as you start to shift gears, refocus and come up with your New Year game plan!! I am excited about the New Year and all the positive things it is going to bring all of us. First of all, we are starting this New Year together!! We all have our personal & professional goals and now we have the support group to support each other and see to it that we are able to follow through and accomplish those goals! It is easier when you have the positive support and motivation to keep digging deep!
I am going to start a “new year.. new you” thread so please, if you feel so inclined, post what your 2010 goals are, whatever they may be…
Hope everyone that was sick is feeling better. I can not believe how many people are still sick and if not now, just getting over a sickness! 90% of my clients and people I run into, what is that all about…?
It is weird how now with the holidays over, things seem to be less overwhelming. For some reason, even though I am not one to get stuck in all the craziness of the holiday, for some reason it was in the air and I didn’t realize how crazy the energy of my surroundings was until now. Now that the holiday is over, things seem to be so much more calm all around me. I feel like a different person. Why do the holidays still do that, even if you avoid it at all costs!?
My week has started out great!!
YESTERDAY’S WORKOUT AND DIET

MEAL 1: 1/2 c. oats, protein shake, 100 calorie almond pack
MEAL 2: peanut butter Perfect Foods Bar
MEAL 3: my berry protein muffins– delicious! 🙂
MEAL 4: green beans, left over turkey from Christmas dinner with 3 oz yam
MEAL 5: protein shake
MEAL 6: big salad with 4 oz chicken and olive oil
MEAL 7: protein shake with 1 tbsp flaxseed
— yesterday was a lower carb day, hence why my fats were up…
TRAINING:
incline chest press with 25# dumbbells–5 sets of 15
push-ups, incline on bench, super set with decline ab crunches –3 sets of 15
shoulder press with 25# dumbbells–4 sets of 15
arnold presses with 15#–4 sets of 15
single front raises, leaning forward with 10# dumbbells–3 sets of 15
tricep extensions with cable–2 sets of 15
tricep kickbacks with 10# dumbbells–2 sets of 15
Bigger workout day but was unable to get in cardio so took yesterday off from cardio.
Today, To be determined but definitely have to get in the cardio..
