Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!!! The year is really off to a great start. Another awesome day. Started with my early morning wake-up and usual computer work, sipping on my protein shake and coffee, while eating my oatmeal. I know I am like clockwork, we’ll a girl get’s into her routine and nothing can break that!! Then off to the gym for a leg workout. Here was the workout
leg extensions 4 sets of 30 # 15reps
my famous body weight lunge kicks– 3 sets of 15 reps on each side
verticle leg press, using heels to press up 3 sets of 15 reps
back to leg extensions with 20#, 15 reps super set with jump squats–15x
last exercise– standing hamstring curls–3 sets of 15 reps with first two sets with 30# AND last set with 40#
Great workout!
Then home to eat meal #2: 5 egg white/veggie omelet with 1 piece of Ezekiel toast
From there Michael and I took Bruno to the Farmers Market (yes, day two of the farmers market!!) It was fun and it is 70+ degrees so a beautiful day for that… I got veggies for tonight. (tomato, tons of sprouts, asparagus, cauliflower and a basil pesto paste for sandwiches.)
We came back and I just had 1/4 c. oats with a protein shake. I have been busy working on line and now going to lay down for a nap.
Tonight’s dinner is big salad with the fresh sprouts, tomato, and celery topped off with either fish or chicken
On the side I am going to grill the asparagus and make cauliflower mashed! Yummy!!
