1 roasted red bell pepper
2 cloves garlic
2 T red wine vinegar
1 t fresh lemon juice
2 drops Stevia
dash hot sauce (Tabasco)
2 T olive oil
1/2 t Dijon
black pepper
Blend all together. Tasty!
To roast pepper, just place under broiler turning when charred, about 15-20 minutes. Remove from oven, let cool slightly and place in Ziploc. When cooled slip skins off and remove seeds.
Another great recipe is Romesco Sauce
1 red bell pepper
4T olive oil
2 cloves garlic
1/2 cup almonds
Toast almonds in pan w/ 1 T olive oil. Put in blender or food processor with remaining ingredients. Salt as needed.
For thicker sauce, add 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs or oat flour.
