INGREDIENTS:
-4 oz 99% lean ground turkey
-2 oz 93% lean ground turkey
-1/4 c. fresh tomatoes, sliced
-1/2 cup wild rice, cooked
-2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
-1 egg white
-1/4 yellow onion, chopped
-1/2 cup spinach
-2 cloves garlic, minced
-1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
-ground black pepper, to taste
(sliced tomatoes and onions for garnish)
OPTIONAL–EZEKIEL BUN OR LETTUCE/CABBAGE CUPS
Preparation:
-In Big mixing bowl, add all ingredients. Mix well.
-Make into 2 large turkey burger patties or make into 4 smaller mini patties.
-Set aside.
-Heat BBQ and grill on Medium heat until cooked all the way through.
For low carb burgers, Use Lettuce or cabbage to wrap your burgers and garnish with Tomatoes and Onions.
For regular burgers, Use Ezekiel Bun and garnish with Tomatoes and Onions.
