Good Morning on this beautiful Monday where we are making things happen! Day in and day out consistency is the key but how do you maintain day in and day out efforts? Doesn’t that seem a little unrealistic to live everyday consistently on a program!? The key to success is consistency but that does not mean never having a slip up but what that means is finding a way to keep consistently moving forward, even after a slip up. How do you stay consistent and moving forward, one may ask? This comes with finding ways to motivate yourself and learning what keeps you going. For everyone motivation is something completely different. For one, it may be being inspired by someone else, reading one of your favorite books, a simple quote, soothing music, etc. Your motivation may change from day to day or week to week. What once motivates you may not motivate you anymore and you have to find other means but take the time to find them! We all have things within us that get us going and fire us up. What is your motivation today? Often all we need is a reminder of what our goal is and why we are going after it. For so many simply recognizing how amazing you feel is incentive and motivation in itself. We are on our healthy path for a reason and that #1 reason is for a life full of longevity and how amazing health makes us feel and function. When you are consistent with your goals and program, how does that make you feel!? Remind yourself of this powerful feeling and that may be just enough to motivate you today.
