We have all committed ourselves to certain goals for the new year, what if you committed to your goals, followed through and stuck with them for the whole year?  What if?   What if you knew that your goals, whatever they are are going to give you that better live you have always dreamed of and desperately wanted?  Whether it be getting into the best shape of your life, flossing your teeth daily, enabling yourself to say “no”, spending more time on yourself, etc. imagine how you will feel when you follow through!?  Think about how the changes you make today will allow you to do things you always dreamed of and better yet, just be an all around better, happier and healthier person.  What if you altered a certain behavior in order to do more, give more – and feel better about yourself now and in the future?   How deep is your desire to make your own dreams become a reality?
“Dreams come true when desire transforms them into concrete action. Ask life for great gifts and you encourage life to deliver to you.” — Napoleon
As human beings, sometimes and unfortunately it takes a traumatic event to occur before we wake up and take action.  Sometimes, it takes a tragedy to show us what’s important and to initiate a change in our behavior.  Whether you are one of those that saw the light after a traumatic event or if you just saw the light period, it is important to focus on what your goals are, commit to them and follow through to initiate change!
The new yearallows us to consciously choose to be proactive.  To reflect, plan, vision, dream and create – with intention and commitment.
More than 80% of people who make resolutions fail.  Why?  Sometimes, unrealistic goals are set or the desire to change is just not there.  You have to want it, believe in it and go and get it!!
If we are truly honest with ourselves – what areas of our life need shifting?  In order to make real change, we must be willing to sacrifice, give up, release something and build our discipline muscle to stay-the-course.  And, it may be uncomfortable.  Change is uncomfortable and often scary but look at the end of the tunnel and how much you can and will improve your life!!
“And the day came when the risk (it took) to remain tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” –Anais Nin
With the new year year, we are all on our way and a week into changing our lives, with the goals we set out to accomplish!  What if you truly changed your life by committing to your goals?  What if you stretched outside of your comfort zone and used your discipline to create what you want.  What if? … YOU CAN DO IT!
I BELIEVE IN YOU!!
COMMIT TO YOUR GOAL AND LET’S FOLLOW THROUGH TO A NEW AND AMAZING YOU IN 2010!
