So today had to have been one of the cheapest yet most expensive days… How is that?? Well, let me explain.  I went dress shopping, yet again but this time knew what I was looking for.  I was looking for a mermaid style/stapless dress. Of course, something for the beach and nothing too formal.  I could honestly do with out a train too!  I went to a bridal boutique I found online that had some dresses that were right up my alley.  I called ahead of time and tehy said they were having a sale on Black Friday so I could come in to try on and check them out.  I went down there, tried a few on and needless to say loved one but it was going to need a ton of alterations.  I was going to have to remove a lot of underneath material to allow it to flow straight down without the slight “poof”.  It was very form fitted but was going to have to be taken in quite a bit in the waist.  Of course with my back and bust had to go with a larger size, meaning tons of alterations to get it to fit perfect.  There were also a few other things I was not set on, i.e the satin buttons, train and overall weight.  It was beautiful but it didn’t feel like a beach wedding dress.  I have been going back and forth with the fact of if I really want a “wedding dress” or just another dress that totally could be worn at a wedding but is not quote unquote made as a “wedding dress”.  When I walked in the dress it felt really heavy, as I know wedding dresses do, but it wasn’t something I could imagine wearing in the sand! This dress “could” be perfect but there were too many alterations that would have to take place and for $4,000, I decided it was NOT the dress!!!!  See the photos below…

SO excited.  That is exactly what I had imagined, I would go to a store, randomly, and find a dress that would work!! So it was an expensive day but a cheap day, since I spared myself Over $3500!!! I wouldn’t have been crazy enough to blow that much but still …
My day was busy with clients in the a.m., errands and this dress shopping.  Before I knew it, it was time to grab last minute things for tomorrow.  We are headed over to our friends house so had to grab a few bottles of wine, pumpkin pie and I also picked up a box of fudge from Costco 🙂 Tomorrow I will prepare the famous Devil’d eggs, Gina Style!   It should be a blast, in the sun with friends!  So much to be thankful for!
I got a killer circuit training workout in today, 20 minutes, in and out.  Tomorrow is 7:30 bootcamp, a great way to start Turkey Day!!
More updates tomorrow and you have to check out my Devil’d egg recipe that I will be preparing tomorrow.  I will post a video and the recipe!! Just wait, it is a great dish to bring to a party or have at your own party!! you are going to be shocked. Have a great night!!
