TURKEY MUSHROOM BURGERS
-2 egg whites
-1 cups fresh mushrooms, finely chopped
-1/2 c. oatmeal ground, or oat flour
-1/2 c. yellow onion
-2 cloves garlic
-3 oz 99% lean & 3 oz 93% lean ground turkey breast
-1 tbsp fresh parsley
-1 tbsp fresh basil
-2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
-1 tsp Tabasco
-In a large bow, combine all the ingredients except 1 tbsp EVOO. Mix well and then shape into patties.
-Heat large skillet and add remaining oil. Cook patties for about 4 minutes on each side or until browned.
-Split the buns and serve with lettuce and tomatoes OR use lettuce or cabbage leaves as a No Carb bun option.
