Happy Sunday! Another Star Day, especially after some great sleep this morning. Sunday has really become my Off day from the Gym and Training Clients so it allows for a little more flexibility throughout the day. I have taken the term Sleep in Sunday as my theme for Sundays. I take advantage of the day for catching up on my zzzz’s. Because my natural alarm goes off around 5 a.m., that still happens on Sleep in Sundays so I get up, eat and then allow myself to go back to bed. Sleep is so important, not only during pregnancy but always. I am sure to take advantage of my sleep when I can. Throughout the week, I am go go go so my Sleep in Sundays are extremely precious! Definitely caught up and reenergized my batteries for the week.
We took a tip out to a small town outside of San Diego called Julian. It is known for its apple pies. It is a quaint cute old town and a fun day trip. It was a great little getaway…
Meal #1: 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/4 cup what bran, 1/2 cup blueberries & 6 egg whites
Meal #2: (Never too early for a salad) Chicken salad with grilled bell peppers and onions topped with non fat Feta Cheese
Meal #3: Lunch in Julian– Shrimp Salad with Salsa as my dressing
Meal #4: Apple & Quest Bar
Meal #5: Quest Bar
Meal #6: Tilapia & Green Beans with sautéed Garlic with Olive Oil
WORKOUT OF THE DAY:
Active Recovery day with only P.M. Swim- 42 laps
Today was the first day that I tried on a pair of shorts and had a hard time buttoning them!! I still was able to wear them and button them but they definitely are tight and didn’t fit the same. It is definitely a transitioning phase where I am not really showing but feeling and seeing my body change and the number on the scale starting to increase. It is an interesting  phase that is for sure. Just going with it…. Feeling my stomach protruding a bit more each day but still not an obvious baby bump.
