Robert Collier said, “Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.” When it comes to your health and fitness, it is less about going crazy or doing things “perfectly” all the time and more about doing things repeatedly. When you devote yourself to achieving a goal, in order to do so efficiently, you must be consistent! Slow and consistent is so much better than fast and inconsistent. When you establish consistency in your workouts, make healthy choices about what you eat and drink, you WILL see results. Consistency is powerful and it DOES work! Day in and day out, that is what it is all about. 2 hours of cardio one day and then nothing the next 4 days…. eating clean and making smart choices for 1 day and then losing control for 3 days is not helping you get to your goals. Not that you have to be perfect all the time, come on, we are human… but consistency is where it needs to be to obtain your results. Do less more often but just do less!! Put aside your extreme, want it now attitude and focus on doing less, consistently. Doing more infrequently is much less beneficial than doing less frequently! Consistency is where it’s at, consistency!!
