Santosha is the Sanskrit word for Contentment. Santosha is all about being content with what one has, what one is, where one is and with what one has done or what one is doing. We tend to want more: more weight loss, bigger car, better job, more food, etc. Everything in our lives today is more more more, bigger is better. The reality is our mental makeup & state of mind allows us to find contentment in any situation.
This week focus on Santosha. Be happy with what you have and not wanting, seeking, desiring, or longing what you don’t have. Make the best of everything. Accept where your body is, the car you drive, the home you live in, the relationships you have, all the things to be grateful for, be continent in you just as you are right here, right now.
