No Cook Protein Bars
1 1/2 c. dry oatmeal
2 scoops protein powder (flavor of choice)
2 tbsp flaxseeds (ground)
1 cup non fat dry milk
1/3 c. natural creamy or crunchy nut butter (of choice)
touch of water (about 1/2 cup)
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c. dried fruit
1/2 cup splenda
-Spray an 8×8 inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
-In a large bowl, mix oatmeal, whey protein powder, flaxseeds and nonfat dry milk.
-In a separate bowl, whisk together the nut butter, water, vanilla and cinnamon. Add the nut butter mixture to the dry ingredients and stir to form a sticky dough. Stir or knead in the dried fruit.
-Using wet hands or a rubber spatula sprayed with cooking spray, spread the mix evenly throughout the pan. Freeze for 1 hour or refrigerate for a couple hours until firm. Cut into squares. Wrap individually for convenience.
