Hopefully everyone had some time to rest and recover your body and mind! It is so important to allow yourself those moments! There is nothing like a day of rest and some healthy 3 stack pumpkin pancakes to finish off the weekend! I have to say, yesterday, we enjoyed some delicious pumpkin pancakes but they had nothing on our home cooked protein pumpkin pancakes, to tell you the truth! Kind of nice to get out but why is it that 90% of the time you go out and realize your cooking is just so much better!? Well just like it is important to rest your body and mind, you have to rest your kitchen too… Went to one of our favorite healthy spots, The Naked Cafe, for a delicious brunch. Any San Diegan’s, definitely a place to grab a healthy bite! Still has nothing on our cooking but nice to know there are places to dine out the GA (Gina Approved) way! Ready to take on Today and this week, Refreshed and Rejuvenated…
Yesterday we mentioned what you can do, right now, to attack your goals. So often people just put things off. This is what we call procrastination. We are all guilty of this and often find it easier to put things off until a later time. What happens if you keep putting things off? Your goals never get reached. Imagine this scenario. You really want to get into the best shape of your life and start reading up on fitness tips and suggestions. You are starting to get motivated and excited and you tell yourself you are going to start a healthy program on Monday. Monday rolls around and you tell yourself, “well, Thanksgiving is right around the corner and I don’t want to start a plan before Thanksgiving, in fear of jeopardizing my momentum so I am going to wait until after the holiday.” Thanksgiving comes and goes and then you tell yourself, “Christmas is right around the corner and I am going to wait until the first of the year. That sounds like a better plan. I have a lot going on, family is coming down, I am really busy and starting January 1st, 2011 is perfect. I will start with a fresh start and start the year out right! I am excited, that is my plan…” January 1st 2011 comes and guess what, Yes you have anther excuse. You see the trend! Now imagine, if January 1st came and you had started your journey the day you initially said (today). Imagine where you would be come the new year!? Yes, you have to start somewhere! You just have to dig in and start somewhere. If you decided to take Thanksgiving and Christmas off, perfectly fine! Imagine all the days you would have invested into you and into your success! Imagine, if you just did something everyday to work towards those goals you set, just something everyday…. A whole lot of somethings add up to a whole lot of success!
Procrastination. Putting off until tomorrow what you could do today is such a slippery slop and a habit you want to avoid! Procrastination is counter productive and doesn’t help you reach whatever goal you are striving for. Rather than putting things off until tomorrow, start today and take action! You will feel so much better if you just take small steps and do something rather than nothing! You are in control but have to make your decision. Are you going to put things off until tomorrow or tackle them today!? If you start today, watch how that momentum carries through the rest of your day and week and suddenly you are going after things and getting things done!
You Decide…

Stay disciplined, Stay Focused and do it now, today, this week….
Allow this mantra to keep you on track and allow you to stick with you this week:

I will be catching up on some Q&A’s in the forum a bit later….
Have an amazing Monday and Take Action Today!
