Memories, we have to use them to benefit us! We have different types of memories, some we wish we could relive and others we wish we never had. I know you have both the good and quite the opposite, right!? What do you do with your memories? You can take a memory or past time and look at it in several ways. You can either use it against you, dwelling on mistakes or get down on yourself for what you call to be “failures” OR you can fill your glass up a bit and use those memories to fuel your cognition and as a means to learn from! If your glass if half empty and you continue to focus on your, not so proud, past memories in a negative manner that can limit your success rate or rate of success. Remember that your focus becomes a reality and if you are dwelling and living in frustration, regrets, etc, that will become the product of your future. Now let’s fill our glasses up and see use our memories as fuel to our little engines, learning from them and continuing forward. We are going to always have both great and not so great memories, that is part of life. You have to take the Great, roll with them, cherish them and keep them at bay. Take the “not so great”, accept them, learn from them and move on.
