INGREDIENTS:
-kale
-seasoning of your choice (sea salt, cayenne pepper, chipotle seasoning, italian seasoning, etc.)
-Extra Virgin Olive Oil (spray works great)
DIRECTIONS:
Take kale off the stems and lie on a baking sheet. Sprinkle EVOO or use EVOO spray to make it easy. Sprinkle with seasoning of your choice. Bake at 325-375 for 7-12 minutes till just brown on the edges. If desired, you can turn on broil for a few minutes to get extra crisp. Enjoy!!!
Great news!! I make these a lot and usually eat them all right when I’m done making them. Well, last night I couldn’t eat all of them so I put them in a Ziploc. Needless to say, they were not crispy when I opened them at lunch. Then I remembered a potato chip secret for stale chips – just zap them in the microwave. It takes out all the moisture so you’re good to go. I figured I had nothing to lose so I zapped my kale chips on a paper towel in the microwave for 30 seconds and VOILA!! They are even better than when they first come out of the oven! DELISH!!

WOW, what a concept and that is great news!!! Isn’t that the best when leftovers actually taste better then the day you made them! A simple “zap” and there you have yourself kale chips! Thanks for the tip and pointer! I need to make a bunch of these for this weekend!! Funny how, without even trying, we create these new and tasty creations!!
Thanks for sharing! Awesome pointer! x
