What a great weekend and crazy how fast they fly by! I typically take Sundays off as an R&R day but Michael was working and I was up early so decided to get myself out the door and get in a workout. It felt so good to get it done early and have the rest of the day to work a little bit and relax, a great balance. Last night was unable to fall asleep so ended up reading and watching some of the olympics until I was able to finally get to bed. I am not sure what is going on but that would be my biggest complaint right now is my lack of sleep or my inability to get into a deep sleep until it is time to get up. Luckily, I didn’t wake up at 3 and 4 a.m. but still was up by 6:30 on Sunday. There goes my Sleep in Sunday…
Meal #1: 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1/4 cup wheat bran, 1/2 cup blueberries, strawberries and 1/4 banana with 1 scoop protein shake
Absolutely delicious and so colorful!!
Meal #2: zucchini and turkey with left over bell pepper garlic sauce from last night and an apple
Meal #3: Cabbage Saute with 6 egg whites and almond cheese 🙂
Meal #4: Brown rice puff cereal with Protein shake as my “milk”
Meal #5: Green Beans with Tilapia and Olive Oil
Meal #6: Protein shake with chia seed
Workout:
50 minutes incline treadmill
p.m. 2 mile walk with my dog
20 minute Upper Body Circuit Workout
Until tomorrow… Excited because I have my 15 week check up tomorrow so will have a fun update to share!
