With day light savings time upon us, several of us had to switch our clocks back, gaining an extra hour of sleep and losing daylight hours. With this change of time, comes change in our schedules and needing to be flexible to this change. How flexible are you? Maybe you are one to go to the gym after work but with the absence of sun, your evening motivation is lacking. Maybe you go out for a jog in the evening but now that the sun goes down earlier, your nightly run needs to be taken to the gym. How oaky are you with change?
Change is natural and part of our world. If you go against change, things become more difficult and can become stressful. For us to continue to flourish and grow, we need to learn how to embrace and adapt to change with minimal frustration. Challenge yourself to find ways to embrace change and look at the positive within any change. Whether it is the time change or some other change you are facing, be open to trying new things. When you open yourself up to change you may find that change is what you needed to demotivate and get your fire going again!
