Zig Ziglar once said, “People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well neither does bathing, that’s why we need it daily.” Isn’t this true? You can have a goal and a dream but you need daily motivation to keep you going and focused! How do you ignite your fire on a daily basis?
You create a goal to get in the best shape of your life for Summer. You are exited, motivated and ready to go. You wake up get to the gym, eat well and get to bed early. This lasts about a week but suddenly your inner fire starts to fade. You need something to reignite your fire to keep you going! Ziglar was right, we need daily motivation to keep us on our toes and fired up about our goals!!
Try one or several of my tips for staying motivated daily:
-Create a Vision Board. Gather magazines, books, etc and cut out anything that motivates you, quotes, photos, people, etc. Whatever it is that gets you fired up, cut it out and pin it up on a board. Seeing this daily will act as a reminder of why you are doing what you are doing!
-Watch a motivational video. Find a video that motivates you. Maybe watch your go to motivational video, one that always hits home and resonates with you. This is my all time favorite from Will Smith.

-Write little motivating notes and leave them in places you go on a daily basis. Maybe at your desk at work, in your gym bag, on your mirror in your bathroom, in you refrigerator door. Give yourself those little positive reminders no matter where you are.
-Surround yourself by positive people. Make sure that your circle is positive and motivating. Come to The Gina Aliotti Fitness Network for your daily cup of morning motivation! 🙂 Here there is nothing but support and non stop motivation.
-If your goal is a weightless goal, Put on your favorite bathing suit or pair of jeans. Nothing tastes as good as feeling hot and sexy in your bikini or favorite jeans does. This will act as a reminder that you have a goal and you are going to get there!!
If you keep yourself motivated, you are more likely to stay committed and see your goal through. We all have little tools and tricks that help us. Maybe to some they are “weird” but they work for us. No matter what it is, find your daily motivation and keep yourself going. When you are committed and motivated, results will follow!
