HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Hope everyone is having a wonderful last day of the year. I have finished work for the day and going to spend the rest of the day enjoying and reflecting on the year that is about to turn but also the new year approaching. We are laying low this evening with a nice dinner, a game or two and hope to stay up, as I mentioned, to watch the ball in NY. We will see how that goes… Usually I am out by 10 tops! 😉
I had a great workout today. Here was my Workout Of the Day:
-20 minutes of cardio with a 2 sprints at 9.0, 2 1 minute intervals of high knees and a final 10.0mph sprint at the end.
cross fit type weight training–
reps of 21, 15, 9 of the following exercises
straight bar (45#) squat presses
assisted pull ups, wide grip
swinging front raises with 15# dumbell
finished by a 1/2 minute mile run!!
Great workout and great way to get your heart rate up!!
