Think about all the labors of our past and how hard people worked to obtain the labor rights we have today! If you are someone who feels like “luck” or things just don’t come your way? It is common to hear that good things happen to good people or what goes around comes around right!? Well what if you are a good person and have done good deeds and just been a good person and still feel like you somehow get lost in the shuffle and things just don’t “happen” for you! It is true that little golden rule is powerful but you have to work for those things to happen. You can’t be a good person and just hope and pray things will happen… This is where I think people get confused with the teachings of The Secret. People expect things to just fall on their plate because of destiny. I agree that good things happen to those that pay it forward but, at the same time, you need to work towards what it is you want in order for those things to come into your life.
If you are just a feather in the wind, it may seem as if that feather never quite lands on your lap because the wind is always keeping it floating in the air, drifting right in front of you but not quite landing on your lap. Life is not a series of random coincidences. Things happening to you is a direct relationship to how hard you work and the effort you are willing to put towards the goals you want to achieve. Just like the efforts and persistence of putting an end towards child labor, you have to work hard to make things happen! The same goes for our fitness goals. You can’t just visualize your goals you have to put them into action. Wait to longer and don’t let that feather keep floating in the wind. Take control of your life, your body and your health today!
