Good Morning! Hump day already and gosh I am such a creature of habit, Oats with chia seed and a protein shake–Check and now sipping on my morning java! Some may say, “doesn’t it get old”, some may wonder how we do it but let me tell you, being consistent is #1. We like what we like and nothing is getting in our way, right? I love my oats made with extra water so they are soupy then my shake made with just the perfect amount of ice cubes to make it thick and frothy. Then the only way to eat my meal is to pour the shake over the top of my “Soupy” oats and spoon out each bite, little by little. Clock work… something about that meal, get’s my morning started out right every day! So it is all about consistency, ladies! Over time things just become a habit and you do things without even thinking! I came across a journal that I have had since 2004 that takes me back to my “nutrition log” and you will see the consistency I had then is the same consistency I have now. I am dying to share that with you as it resembles how far back my passion for this healthy lifestyle goes and also how awesome it is to have the logs to refer back to! I will share my special log with you soon!! 🙂 I want you to remember that your “success” lies in each bowl of oats and is not the result of good luck. Just like I recently posted, you have to know what you want and put it out in the universe but ultimately, Success comes from the proper application of principles.
Here are a few of my favorite principles for you to focus on as you are striving for your ultimate goals:
PREPARE:

Preparation is the foundation of success. It often takes years to prepare for success, there are no overnight successes. What appears to be overnight success is usually the result of at least 10 years of preparation.
How prepared are you today? Remember your choices today will affect you 2 hours from now, 2 days from now, 2 months and 20 years from now! Prepare Prepare Prepare!!

START SOMEWHERE:

It is never too late, get started today, right now and with that initial action, you are already moving in the right direction!!
KEEP MOVING FORWARD:

Are you moving in the right direction?
If you’re moving in the right direction, no matter your speed, you will eventually get to where you are going. Remember this is a marathon, not a sprint! One day at a time, just keep moving!! It’s not that important where you are right now, what matters is where you’re headed. CONSISTENCY, ONE FOOT AFTER THE OTHER AND YOU WILL GET THERE!!
BE A DREAMER:
What you dream today will become your reality. Never forget that visualization and creating your dreams in your mind. Those powerful thoughts, create your outlook!
THINK BIG:

When you think you are thinking BIG, think bigger! Don’t ever tell yourself something is “too big” or “to great”. If you can think it, you can achieve it!!
GROW:
Life is about growth. Remember that with challenges becomes growth and without challenges our growth is idle! The challenges of life, the seeming impossibilities are really just opportunities for you to grow. You need these challenges; how can you grow without a challenge? The challenges make you stronger, they make you better. Don’t be afraid to take on your challenges and be ready to grow!
BE DETERMINED AND STAY CONSISTENT:

If you keep your eye on the prize and consistently do anything and everything you can to get there! You have to know what you want and when you make up your mind, where there is a will there is a way! When you are determined and stay consistent there is always a way to do it. So stay focused and your success WILL be yours!
