Good Morning and happy day! A fresh month, new fresh week… Let’s do this! What is on your program today? Are you starting your day out right with a nutritious meal or an awesome session of cardio or weights? How are you starting your day? Remember that the first few minutes of your day, sets the tone for your entire day! Wake up, utilize your rested body and mind and start your day out right! Use that energy for that “you time”. If it means you having to wake up a few minutes earlier, before the kiddos or your household responsibilities start, do it! I suggest you do not wake up to your “things to do list” but rather wake up to “what it is you want to do for YOU”. Starting your day out with a little “me” time, will allow your entire day to unfold so much better. It doesn’t take much… a little bit of time, committed to YOU, and your entire day shifts! Depending on your time, there are several ways to allow yourself that YOU time, you need. If you don’t have a ton of a.m. time before your responsibilities start, highly consider getting up earlier to make time! After all, we are in control!
A few suggestions:
-meditation
-stretching
-reading a book, even just a few pages
-writing in your journal
-going out for a peaceful walk
-hitting the cardio hard with an early morning session
-taking a yoga class
-hitting the weights or performing a circuit training session
-enjoying a nice cup or coffee or tea with a healthy Break-Fast to start your day out right
As for me, this morning, my Me time consists of peace and quite time, listening to the birds wake up, enjoying my time reflecting on the day, sending greetings out to my virtual family and enojoying some java and greens…
