Good Morning, Good Morning! Rested and ready to go?? Today may mark day 2 in your journey or it may mark day 102, where ever you are in your fitness journey, you are day further along than you were yesterday. One day at a time, you are getting closer to your ultimate goals. You may have a weight goal in mind but beyond the numbers and what the scale is saying, or not saying… everyday you are making HUGE leaps and strides towards your lifestyle changes that will determine your long term success~!
If you are just starting a program or deep into a plan, everyone can use a little refresher of how to start and stick to your plan of attack! It is easy to feel a decrease in momentum, if you do not see results right away! Do not lose faith it takes time, consistency and patience. Do not give up! We are all here to help you stay on board. No matter what, do not give up!
-Prepare your day, mentally and physically! Each evening, mentally prepare your next day in your head. When are you going to get to the gym, when are you going to do your cardio, how are you going to feel, etc. Success starts with your mental preparation. Once you have a plan, be sure to prepare your meals and gym bag so you are ready to go, the following day! If you need to write down your plan, put it in ink and cross things off as you get them done. Prepare, prepare, prepare!
-Remember this is a marathon, NOT a sprint. Dig into a plan slowly so things are reasonable and realistic. I know you may get excited when you start a new plan but remember to ease into your program so you don’t get burned out. Little changes add up to big long lasting changes. Being realistic and taking small baby steps is key.
-If there are people that you spend a good amount of quality time with, get them involved! Get your friends and family involved in doing active things with you. Surround yourself around people who have similar goals and a positive outlook. Even if they do not want to follow such a regimented plan as you, be sure that at leas you have the support from those you surround yourself around. Positive people brings positive results!
-When you feel like things are “too touch” remember, if it was easy, everyone would be doing it! Remember, Nothing feels as good as success! When you feel yourself wanting to give up, think and imagine… visualize how you will look and feel when you have reached the top of your mountain! Indescribable!!
-Remember that you are in control of every decision and every action throughout the day. You are in control, you have the powder! Yes, you have the ability to say NO.
-Even when you feel too tired to go to the gym, know that once you get there and get your blood flowing, you will regain that energy you thought you didn’t have. There is something about those endorphins that give you a natural high. You will feel so much better once you are there and more so, after you leave! Remember, something is better than nothing!
-It is best to go with your energy… If you are a morning person, maybe you should ensure that you get up and get to the gym in the a.m. If you know that you are not a night owl and are extremely exhausted, come the end of the day, do not schedule your workouts for the p.m. Know yourself and know when you feel best about yourself and energy is on fire. Utilize those times to invest into yourself!
-Don’t forget to pat yourself on the back. We often don’t want to give ourselves credit because we have such high expectations. Remember to give yourself credit for your accomplishments. Don’t wait until you have “reached your goal” to be proud, be proud today because today is a step towards your goals and without your daily accomplishments, your goal would not be reached~!
Remember this is a journey! Take it one day at a time and enjoy the ride!
Don’t give up on yourself! Take it one day at a time and know that you have all the support and motivation behind you to ensure you stay on track!
Have a beautiful day ladies and Never say Never!!
xoxo
