Good Morning and what a wonderful Saturday… Birds chirping, sun is coming out (at least here in Cali) I know it is already out in so many of your neck of the woods! 😉 I am glad to hear that so many of you are planning on having a productive yet relaxing weekend, enjoying the luxury of time off from working and time to focus on you, get in a little extra zzzz’s rest and recuperate from a busy week! Not only are we living our daily lives and busy with our typical work schedules, family duties and every day things to do, we also add in our fitness goals and our days can get a little crazy! The weekends are a nice time to be able to r&r a bit, catch up, reflect and just BE, take in and Enjoy!
As we all are focusing on our goals, I want to keep reiterating that it is important that you remember to just keep moving forward and keeping your mind on the fact that this is a journey, a marathon and NOT a sprint!
Slow and steady may seem out of your vocabulary, as you want your goals to be reached fast and quickly but this lifestyle approach to continuing to move forward, no matter how slowly. Sometimes slowness can be frustrating. It is normal and human nature to want something and want it NOW. You might become impatient or you might get discouraged with a minor setback, but a setback doesn’t have to set you back. Simply using it as a learning tool to motivate you to move ahead, focused and determined! Try paying attention more to your direction and less to your speed. When you know your direction and where you are going, be patient, focus on a little bit at a time, and soon enough, you’ll be further than you ever thought.
STEP BY STEP, MOVING FORWARD AND BEFORE YOU KNOW IT YOU ARE THAT MUCH CLOSER TO YOUR ULTIMATE GOALS!!
