Good Morning and hope everyone slept well! I slept pretty good but was up a few times, think from the asparagus we had last night… 😉 While I was at my amazing yoga class, Michael made a big salad with asparagus and Bison Burgers for him and Tilapia for me. He seasoned the asparagus with a few sprays of spray butter, smoked paprika and garlic and put it in the oven to broil and it was delicious. 🙂
ohhh no… as I cough, I think I have a little bug. Michael was fighting one for a few days and I was praying I didn’t get it and I think I have caught it. Just the started stages yesterday, as I could feel it in my throat and this morning with a little cough. I hope it is a short one… I better load up on extra vitamins and my water intake and hope to get in a nap to fight this thing before it gets worse! ahhh…. Right when you are feeling amazing, energy is up … I guess your body can’t handle it sometimes and as a defense mechanism a bug comes in as a barrier so you don’t conquer the world, lol. That is one way to look at it, I guess! 😉

Still hope you two are feeling better. Just put it this way. If we were not in shape this bug probably would be worse! So big kudos for us! hip hip hurray!! LOL!!!

Gina and Karina, get better! We can’t have you with this bug! Do you guys take Oscillococinnum? I usually do at the earliest sign that I might be getting sick and I swear it seems to thwart the bug. And if I do get sick it seems to knock it out faster! I also load up on zinc (in lozenge form of course…much more effective than tablets)!!
Your dinner sounds delicious Gina! How nice of your hubby to cook it for you. While you were doing something nice for yourself, someone else was doing something nice for you as well! Now that’s a win win if I’ve ever heard of one! ;-D

Due to the BUG. Hardly hungry… What do you recommend to do not affect the diet but at the same time get what is needed. Pro shakes??? That is literally what my body likes right now…. augH!

It was a delicious dinner and quite a win win, if I don’t say so myself! He is an amazing cook. He cooks at the firehouse all the time and I enjoy my cooking time so try to give him a break but when he takes the kitchen in his own hands I am not complaining! 😉

Karina, Yes, when your hunger is down definitely get in shakes or even my favorite is chicken soup! Even if you don’t have the thick chicken pieces, at least load your soup with low sodium chicken broth and tons of veggies!!! I love soups!! I just made the crock pot lime chicken I posted! It is cooking now and smells delicious!
At least get in your shakes though.. You can even make your shakes into pudding, with little water, if you are feeling more of a pudding consistency. Do get something in though, even if you are not hungry… have to keep that metabolism up!
