The day begins… I am headed out the door, a little later than usual because today is my OFF Day. I am headed to the gym for some good ol cardio but off from the weights and circuit training!
Whether today is your off day or hump day was your day to rest, today is another day to reach for those stars. Either reaching while your body rests and recovers or reaching while you dig deep into your intense training and nutritional program!
I will be touching base more on the over training topic as this has been a huge topic of discussion and so many have questions and concerns on Intensity vs. Over training… this is such a loaded topic and one that deserves a loaded answer.
We are ALL so different in our training capabilities, goals, limitations, etc. It is important to really learn what it means to over train, when is too much, not enough, when it is okay to rest, when your body is telling you to rest or is it your mind, and do you have to work through the mental barrier?? SO much to blab about on this topic so until later… more on Over training and helping you stay on track and understanding how to overcome the mental and physical battles of our go go go, striving for excellence mentality, no matter what it takes. We have to remember the less is more mentality when it comes to any fitness program. At the same time know when less is enough… I know so much to think about. More to come later!
