Need help gathering your thoughts and getting started on your new plan? The new year is coming up quirky and it is time to start putting together your plan!
Steps to help you get started or remotivated:
GOALS-Write out your goals and desires not only for today and tomorrow but what are your long term goals? Where do you see yourself in 3 years?
POSSIBLE DISTRACTIONS-What has been causing you distractions lately? Think about what has been getting in your way and come up with a way to overcome those challenges. You must identify them first before you can come up with solutions!
PLAN-Have a plan. How can you accomplish anything without knowing what it is you are going to do to get there? Specify the step you are going to take to get to your goals and then start acting!
PERSONAL LOG- Write down everything from your goals to random thoughts that go through your head. Writing things down helps you stay accountable and also helps you keep a log of your progress!
START NOW, TODAY- Begin your new lifestyle today, no matter how far you feel you have to go. It all starts somewhere but you must start! You must own where you are, accept you for you and from there, move forward.
-PATIENCE- Focus on one step at a time and stay committed. Results don’t happen over night so gain patience and trust in your plan.
-DON’T BE AFRAID TO FAIL- Don’t be afraid! It is going to happen you will have minor set backs but those setbacks are normal and part of your plan so know they are coming and that they will only make you stronger! They are there to help you learn and gain strength! You are not alone, we all have them but how we choose to move past them is what is unique to us.
-CLEAR YOUR MIND AND PLATE- Take the necessary time to decutter your mental and physical space to allow room for new beginnings. If there is too much going on in your world, how can you make room for something new? Decide what things are going to help you get to where you are going and only allow those things to saturate your life.
-YOU AGAINST YOU- This journey is about you, not anyone else but you! The minute you stop comparing yourself to anyone else, is the minute your journey begins! Nobody is perfect and comparing our journey to someone else’s is pure ignorance so don’t waste your energy!
-REWARD YOURSELF- You work hard, you deserve a little something from time to time! It is okay, you are not being selfish, you deserve it! No matter how big or small an accomplishment may seem, treat yourself to something special!
