Good Morning! It is friday!! I just can’t believe how quick the weeks fly by!! Before we know it Thanksgiving will be here and then, should I even mention…. Christmas and then 2010!!! Wow, That is just craziness how time flies.  Which reminds me to mention the article I wrote on starting to think about the new year and what your little heart may want to do the for new year, in terms of goals, visions, things you want to work on, etc.  I have received an e-mail from FLEX asking about some of the worst New Year’s Resolutions I have heard of.. trying to come up with some.  Only one that immediately pops into my head is of course, weight loss unrealistic goals but that is too common… what are some that you have heard????
This week has been a very successful week with getting things on my to do list knocked off…  wedding invites–CHECK, try on dresses, initial time–CHECK, web meeting and direction of site—CHECK, appointments—CHECK…getting things done, organize and gearing up for the new year myself!! I think everyone should take time to re evaluate situations, themselves, their goals, etc, and re structure things.  I don’t think a resolution should be made 12/31 because that is just what you do… but a new year is a great time to come up with realistic goals that you can strive for.  I think it is a perfect opportunity to reflect on things that are working, may not be working and how you can change things.  Give it some thought and take your time!  Let’s make 2010 kicked off with new goals, visions and let’s work together to help one another, however we can.  Start thinking about it….
ON a completely different note, I mentioned trying on dresses… okay here is where I need your help!!! I started where everyone was telling me was a good place to START, David’s Bridal.  I don’t like their dresses from their website but thought it is close and I can at least try on styles and see what looks best on by body… Okay so I went, first of all, I was right, I DO NOT like ANY of their dresses.  Just not for me!  I tried on a few different styles and as I am sure you all can relate with clothes shopping… wow, it is going to be hard to find something that fits and looks right.  Halter is totally out!!! I look too big (muscle big and busty…) A line or anything too full is absolutely out!  SO I really liked the style/cut of the mermaid dress.  I want something that hugs my body but not too much of course!! I am looking for simple, simple, beachy, not too much on the dress in terms of beading, lace, not a long train, if any, etc… strapless and mermaid style…. White or Ivory.  Remember this is on the beach and Michael will be in beachy attire… Below are photos of the similar type of cut… I almost hate posting because this dress is Hideous but I wanted to give you an idea so I can get feedback and help!  This dress has a train and mine doesn’t have to have one and if so, super small.  You get the idea… Any suggestions are welcome or places for me to try!! Keep in mind It doesn’t have to be a “wedding dress” either, it may be something I find at a random boutique… Just wanted to share and get as much feedback as possible!  It is a good thing I am starting now, this is going to be harder than I thought!!! Makes me want to start a line of wedding dresses for the fit woman!!! LOL!!
