Watermelon radishes are not only a Free Food on our Lifestyle Balance Plan but beautiful and add for an amazing garnish to so many dishes. They are larger than a typical radish, only about 3 inches in diameter. Generally the flesh of this radish is spicier toward the outside and gets sweeter as you bite into the center.
This radish may be simply sliced and eaten plain or used to enhance salads and sandwiches. It is delicious as is or drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with a touch of sea salt. It makes a great Gina Approved Free food and also a great hors d’oeuvre. Very versatile and worth trying!
