What are you afraid of?
Is one of your greatest obstacles from living the life you desire,  fear?  Is it holding you back?  Fear can often be that one thing that holds us back and doesn’t allow us move forward in achieving our goals. You would think that our goal would be to never have  fear in our lives, but this isn’t possible.  Fear is essential to everyday life and survival.  Fear allows us to react to danger, i.e ” Fight or Flight response”.  Fear also allows us to grow and become better human beings.  We can learn from fear.  Not only how to respond and react to situations but who to get through troubling times or fearful situations.
It’s important to be able to recognize and understand fear.  There are two types of fear.  One type is reasonable, such as if you’re in any situation where you are in a harmful situation OR there is another type of fear that is the type WE invent and have control over.  This type of fear doesn’t need to exist and we actually create it.  It is triggered by imagining and anticipating a situation that isn’t happening at all, but that which we expect will happen.
The brain doesn’t know how to differentiate how to react.  Once you have decided that you are in a fearful situation, the brain decides fight or flight. The thinking part of the brain, (the cerebral cortex), is shut down and the other part of your brain, the non thinking part, kicks in to protect you from the fear…
Where does this self induced fear  come from? Imagine you want so badly to win a show or to lose weight, but you fear that you will not do well or you will not lose weight.  This type of thinking is the result of the fearing something that is yet to happen. The worst part of self educed fear is having to cope with the emotional effects of something that is yet to happen and maybe never will happen. Feeling the emotional fear before it happens is no fun and actually when you think something it is bound to happen!  The  self induced fear makes the thought real, and t becomes routed in your thinking.
Projecting a situations outcomes can make a situation without it even happening  or of taking a past experience and making that the way you see something happening.  You already have set in your mind how you are going to react to the situation or start feeling the effects of the situation before it even happens.  Self induced fear is the worst fear, in my opinion, because you can constantly live  in a prison of experiencing unwarranted pain which prevents us from living the lives we really want.  There is something such as expecting the worst and hoping for the best… Now there is something to be said about knowing how you are going to deal with each and every situation so you are ready for whatever may happen but you still HOPE and Dream the best situation so you can make those thoughts reality.  Remember your thoughts become your reality!
Get rid of that unnecessary self induced fear by
Ask yourself the following:
Is what I fear actually happening right now, or am in fear of something that I think will happen?
If what I fear does happen, then what is the real worst thing that can happen?
Do I have enough faith and trust in myself, that I can handle and recover from negative events?
Am I letting the fear stop me from moving forward and achieving my goals?
Remember, success  isn’t about the absence of fear, but the ability to move forward regardless of fear. It is how we handle situations and learn from them that matters!
Don’t let your self induced fears choose “Flight”, which will move you in the opposite direction of your goals and dreams, but rather “Fight” those fears and conquer your goals!
You will gain confidence and over time you will have less fear. FIGHT THOSE FEARS AND DON’T LET THEM HOLD YOU BACK!
