Hello all I've been here before in the past just as a viewer but now i am proud to say now i am fully part of the family as i signed up with Gina whom is amazing. I have wrote a bit about myself on my profile if you like to learn more but i have started the journey to a healthy life sytle as of 08/15/11 im so excited as Gina notes in the last few days it takes patience, persistance, and consistancy. I hope to gain all those all over again as i kinda fell off the band wagon i guess they say. This year was by far the roughest year of my life with going through 5 mnths for family (marriage) difficulties which led me to become a comfort eater as i never was. I know those words are all in our heads as lots of temptations are all in our heads. Well that little voice sure won but im back to take over. With again im proud to say my husband by myside whom had never given up on me through the 5 mnths and always believed in me so whom also gave me even more of that encouragement to look more into Gina... Well her girls on stage said enough and not just that her inspirational words everyday who can ask for more not only someone who will direct you in the right way but will pick you up when your down on a day to day basis not jsut when you send an email or when you call but everyday thats what matters and feels good.
My mini goals are to start dropping weight that i put on this year but the healthy way and pound by pound ladies this has been tough no matter how much cardio i do or cut out the nibbling i think with the stress and you know us women hormones things were off balanced somewhere but that being fixed day by day....then smoothly work my way into my bigger goal which is do a qualifying show.... and then into the ultimate goal which is do a couple of national shows. That is a brief and quick insight of where i want to be and where i am going but along the way it will be a slow process, fun, new and full of every emotion i could think of as i reflect back on my story. But in all i want to take from Gina her knowledge of a life time healthy life style through good or bad times. I will try to post as much as possible but with my crazy schedule you would understand why you may not hear from me till the weekend but mon-fri im up 530 am for am cardio then home to get ready for work from 8-5 then i squeeze into my gym clothes after work and fly to my daughter (5)cheer practice is from 6-730pm thank god for a supporting husband whom is ok for me to leave at 7pm for my weight training so fewwwwww.... you can see how my week goes then let me not forget pack meals for the next day. now you all know how packing meals can be :)!!!!

Michelle, Glad you figured things out and yes, you are up and rockin!!! Congrats on officially introducing yourself and fulling getting involved. Your journey continues and it is going to be amazing. Glad you are going to share it with everyone!! You said it, don't forget these key concepts in your journey patience, persistence, and consistency. You already are back on the wagon and looking forward. Accepting the past, learning from it and now you have a new focus, a new plan and all the right people around you to support you and help you make your dreams come true. You had this beautiful extraordinary cake (life) in mind but maybe just not all the right ingredients (tools) and now you have all the proper ingredients to start mixing up your batter and creating the layers of your most extraordinary cake!! As hard as the past 5 months were for you, you sure learned a lot about yourself!! I am proud of you for stepping back, accepting where you were and what got you there and taking your situation into your own hands and jumping back on the wagon!! That little voice may have won for a few months but it didn't win that game very long! You took over and showed it who is boss!! ;)
I am glad you are looking at your journey in "mini goals". These are the layers of your cake! "the healthy way", I love that you said that and are ready to do things slow and steady, not jeopardizing your health in anyway! The harder you work, the more patient you are and the more solid those layers of the cake are, you are ensured your cake will not crumble and fall and to top it off will taste better than you could imagine because you took your time to perfect each layer!! :) You will be able to have your cake and eat it too (with cherries on top!) I am excited for you....Thank you for sharing a little bit of your story and allowing us to be a part of your journey! Let the baking begin...
Keep up the great work and put on your apron because we have some cake making to do!! :)

So little update on my PROGRESS program. Im two weeks into my program now and feeling good. I still struggle with that small moment at night after training (right perfect timeING) when i get the most cravingS i still fingure pick at small things just around that time. Any advise from the G-fit team that could help me over come that part of my day hmmm? well small steps for me but then for the most part all meals are in all supplements and water is going well. This all is very different but im enjoying it and thats the most important part. Its crazy how now i have less cardio and more food compaired to my more cardio hense little more like double what Gina has me on and less food before and amazingly my weight stayed level that shocked me but thats just the beginning cause lol im sure my body was shocked as well hahaha... I know this beginning point is getting my body used to the new program so sights on any major changes will be a slow process but as Gina puts it a healthy process so ill try my hardest to be patient lol no ill be patient and enjoy this journey. I am amazed as well as i relied on thermogenics and preworkout supplements to get me through my day as well as my workouts and for the last few weeks ive been using my inner me and diggin through every day and every workout but feeling good as i do it so wow...im still waiting to see the changes in how my clothes fit cause as we all know that is how we can tell most but mmm

So its now hit week three on my program and things are moving along well. My training has changed very much compared to what im used to which is lifting heavy and coming out the gym feelin crazy tired and ran over but now im really concentrating and feeling every move when im done training i feel good and really not all wore out. Im loving the circuit training and im seeing small changes its crazy but exciting that im moving in the right direction now that i have all my tools and help to do so. I can not commend my husband enough for being my number one supporter and i commend him for his dedication to his health as he already lost 70 pounds in the last 5 months. im so trying to gain that dedication back. He learned that from me at one point may i add just kidding :) Well i have to admitt i still fall hard to small temptations especially at night when ive got home from training i tell myself no no no but seem to still reach for something i should not have but each time becomes less of what i normally would do hoping that i get to the point where i just dont reach at all but at least i try to be smart with my choice if i do feel i need to go off my program. Ive resisted the temptations in the office so far that is a plus.++++ I so am eager to learn and live this healthy life style where these temptation are merely just something i can overlook soon ill be there baby steps for sure. My weight as not moved which is also a great thing again less cardio more food you would just think you be 5 pounds more but ive stay the same fewwwww thats good lol. But hey i will let my body do the work and my coach get me there and just put all my faith and dedication into it. i just feel really great so till next time program is going smoothly :)

Well im here into my 4th week on Gina program and its going well so far. I am still fighting my cravings and my times i feel i need to nibble but they are becoming very few. I am blessed at the opportunity to share one on ones with Gina and learn new ways to weight train again as my style was heavy now i may think i did more than i needed in the gym but i sure dont regret it just learned from it. Thank goodness labor day is over yikes tried my hardest to not go for those few things that i love the most and found it also hard to get my meals in and all....with all the running around but i try to minimize all that as i am getting my diet right. Not sure if its the heat or what but man have the worst headache in the world feeling lil bloating or swollen could be my fault at that with having a lil bit too much trail mix yesterday uurrrrgghhh was on a nibbling frenzy i say. But today is a new day and im back on track since back at work it gives me no other option but hey thats good. I am doing something very new too i need to dig n fight that inner me on this one. Ok so been into church alot more and the pastor ask we fast something for 30 days so to show my loyalty i decided on no sugars or snacks other than what i am supposed per my meal plans like my 1/4 blueberry etc. but yes no sugars no tail mix no candid pecans i love the most and oh my yogert raisins none none none no deserts after my refuel meals....man this will be tough too especially with vegas in 2 weeks well i know i can do it plus with this process it will help me quit my bad habbits and even turn me even closer to my mini goals as that is where i see my body change most is when i remove the sugars so those capris pants i could not fit watch out here i come lol. well day two on my fourth week lot better than day one of this week but i own it and i am ready to be better...:) ill be back soon !!

It has been a week since my last post and my journey is moving along again weight staying level which is amazing cleansing my body was the first phase and adding more food along with decreasing my cardio and weight still the same i could of imgaine the number on that scale. Well here we are on my 6th week and OH MY the scale has been taken from me lol i literally had to have my husband hide it or really id still use it bad habbit. So this lil addiction of mine is now gone just pictures to Gina and that is it. I have over come many cravings and also thanks to my fasting sugar other than any sugar from what i get in my meal plan for 30 days keeps me away from any possible cheats forsure. my weeks have become 100% but my weekends still consist of lil here and there of maybe few slices pineapple or hand full of chips as an example. But with where i was that few slices and handful is much improved from before....as Gina says one day at a time and OWN IT so i do and i better myself the next week. My 530 am cardio get pretty rough but my body is on cruise control it knows what to do when tired or not it does it im thankful i seem to get that little burst of energy but the completion of my workouts feels so good. i love it that my daughter can not wait till sunday morning and reminds me mommy we going to the track. Im loving the change in food constantly it keeps me going and not bored. Now it is time to see the changes in my body baby steps but i have faith they will come.
I was glade to meet Paris on the site and am excited of her new journey. Anyone else on there journey here in the G-fit world please stop in say hi.

Hey girl...I'm probably about 3 or 4 hours from waldorf...i live on the eastern shore in salisbury md...about 30 mins from ocean city md. How is everything going? My journey is going great and feeling so good...im taking it day by day...my main goal is to stay active and healthy..future goal is possibly do a show just to prove that i can do anything i put my mind to!!

Where do i begin today is tuesday and i submitted my pictures yesterday so amazed of my results thus far i can honestly say my body changed crazy crazy not yet see it in my clothes but man those before pix compared to these just recent ones im in amazement keep me wanting more so even better. Im going on my 7th week and i feel good a bit tired these last few days i think i have an idea why but im still digging so i can have that strength everyday to do as i need my am cardio has been great to the T my meals during the week are perfect i seem to be too busy right now at work to even think of food then when off its straight to the gym or my daughter cheer really no time to even breath but i love it the fact that i dont have food in my head at this point it was a long way coming. My fasting sugar sure has been very helpful been 3 weeks no sugar which is how it should be lol but before i nibbled a bit now its just what is given on my plan like pumpkin here and there or blueberry here and there. :) So tonight is a night of shoulders chest and triceps with Gina i know i better find the energy for this cause she kicks my butt each time. My weekends have been have been good i seem to find it hard to get all my meals in as i do during the week when im running around so i have to be flexible and or creative i do have missed just time flies or food i needed just not at hands reach. ill be better at that though i had in the past and will get there again. My training consist of many things i took from Gina and I one on one training but going well i train alone and feel better that way just cause i find myself slaacking when i train with those who goals are different. I hope everyone elses journey is going well I know i have met Paris and she is well on her way which i great to hear keep positive and stay strong till next time everyone have a great day.:)

Its been about a week since i last posted but thus far feeling a bit tired maybe the weather its that cuddle weather lol :). Well my week last week went well fell into the weekend and suprised my husband with a very romantic dinner outdoor near a lake thanks to my girlfriends who made that happen they decorated the table like a wedding was happening and laid rose peddles on the ground and had chilies the restaurant ready in foil once set up they called said they were ready and there i was on my way with my husband who thought we were going to ruth cris lol what a surprise it was too him. He never expected anything of the sort we had a great night. But my refuel was a chicken breast and rice with chips and dip so it worked for the occasion. But there it was sunday seem to find myself in the kitchen keepen my husband fed started with some tri tip and muffins and califlower mash potatos which he loved there i go taking some nibbles uurrggghhh not good then i tried a tortilla soup from my vitamix receipe he been wanting to try it turned out ok seem to chop the chicken to much but he used it as a dip with chips again there i went and nibbled then something told me try that pear gorgonzala pizza with salad on top that i posted and boy did that come out good so of course i one who hates just hates wasting food with all those starving people yikes there i went ate that so was in the kitchen from 130-430 pm cooked away then took my daughter and her friend to the park for a half hour then off i went to the gym 30 min cardio. Well did not feel so good about all my nibbling but was one of those days i just hope for a better weekend uuurrrggghhh cause that now bit by bit run my craving into the week i seem to be craving more maybe because i opened that window for my body to want that stuff i seem to find my hand in the nut mixes etc ok i need to refocus my mind and stop so far i have been good work days keep me pretty on point.... other than my minor down falls i have been on point with my workouts train with gina about once a week and get my am and pm cardio in like a ritual no ? asked.... I seem to find myself anxcious maybe that is why i am craving more so i need to step back and refocus my mind on what i what where i am going and know its in process one day at a time step by step... those baby steps as Gina says.....well a new day and a new week lets get this right have a blessed day all

Hello All we are all fairly quiet on the site dont see so many entries well hope everyones doing well and well on there way with their journeys. As for me im on my 10th week on my journey and i am feeling good bit tired but maybe just a Monday thing. Im proud to say my baby girl lost her first tooth this weekend and woke with a smile when the tooth fairy gave her 5 dollars. Awe she was the happiest this morning. Well all my meals are in and my supplements still trying to get used to the ZMA at night any tricks out there to help remember before bedtime. All training was in and cardio really dug deep this last week with the cardio lots of running but man when you get into your grove running can be very relaxing really great. I was able to enjoy some out door time with my runs i always enjoy the track it just so comforting was able to get in about 14 laps thursday night was great then sat. day about noon enjoyed the golf course with a good 3.2 mile all the way non stop very soothing as well. then of course my routine family track day sunday mornings at 7am as i do my track workout which Gina provided my daughter would be playing soccer with my hubby or she would catch a ride and hop on her bike for lap around the track with me as i ran. too fun then i look over and my hubby is there with my weights getting a quick shoulder burn before i get back to my spot for round two. Just so enjoyable to have it a family affair i so recommend it. FInd it little hard to get all meals in on the weekend trying to work on that am getting better sometimes i get a late start in the am so puts be off through the day so still twecking things there. But over all i see and feel the differences of so many things since being on my program thats what matter is the small things as it takes its consistency and becomes an on going thing then differences each week through baby steps. So again not in a hurry just enjoying every bit and learning as much as possible along the way. I am also enjoying every bit of my one on ones so ladies def. set an appt you will not be disappointed you will be blessed with a body shock and sore the next day cause always something new i love it. Till next week dig deep and stay strong and in faith and have that constant consistency you will see the majic happen. Have a blessed day.

Michelle, you are rocking it! You are 10 weeks in and the results are showing!! Congrats to your baby girl, how exciting and adorable! Sounds like you really did great with your cardio. Even though you had to dig deep and find some inner fire, you did it and embraced the outdoors! As hard as those runs can be, much better when you are outdoors, breathing in that fresh O2!
You are learning with each week and seeing that you need to pay closer attention on the weekend, when you are out of your weekday routine but each week, learning and taking from the lessons. Consistency is where our focus has been and that is exactly where your results are stemming, you are staying on course and being consistent with yourself and your routine. Keep up the great work and as you said, "dig deep and stay strong in faith and consistency!" :)

Thank you Gina so much yes so my mini goal is to conquer this weekend make it a good one. Be on track no deviations on anything so lets stay tuned to that i got to get there first lol. I can not thank you the most for all the lessons learned from you and getting me to this point with out any road blocks as we were not sure of but now we a rollin and im excited as bad as i can sleep and want to sleep at 5am i roll out of bed gym ready already hair already in a bun but im there consistency is why. I kow in faith my end result will be much greater than the 5 am wake up calls i have patients but at the same time can not wait.

Thank you paris and absolutely we are in this together. Im here to pick you up anytime your down or had one of those slips we all have trust me in that so always you have someone to turn too of course Gina always there but this network in itself is amazing and encouraging and im glade to be part of your journey now and anytime.
