Hi everyone! so excited to be part of this site and finally working out how to post! :-)
I'm Ilaria,28, Italian, I live in London, been here over 8 years now.
I have a boyfriend and we ve been together for 6 years and very happy.
I was close to competing last year, was in the best shape I even been all my life...then I allowed things coming my way...had a bad experience with a male Coach here and I throw myself off track...big time!! I regained the 20kg I lost and now I am struggling to put myself back on track! I know I have it in me and I will! It just hurt so much knowing I was so close to my dream and I didnt treasure it!

Past is past...I have so much to look forward to! and I will create my slim body again!

You are all so great and positive here!

Welcome to the site and forum Ilaria! Sounds like you have the perfect attitude to achieve you goals- "Past is past...I have so much to look forward to!"

Gina and all the girls are so amazingly supportive and positive. I think you will get alot out of the site!

If you go to "Using the Forum" there are instructions there. I've pasted them below for your reference. I need to upload one too.

1. Go to http://imageshack.us/
2. Upload your image
3. copy the HTML code (ctrl+c)
4. paste the HTML code into your forum post (ctrl+v)

Cool! It worked! however the right link for the avatar is this:

Go to http://en.gravatar.com/

click "Get your Gravatar Today", then follow the directions to create your avatar. (you should be asked to enter your e-mail address and then upload a photo)

an e-mail gets sent to you and walaaa just by entering your e-mail address (that is used for this site) it will appear in the forum. It is pretty cool and simple.

the one u sent is to post pics in posts...

Welcome Ilaria! Such a pretty name (and face to go with it). Sounds like you are on the right track. With all the positivity you'll find here you will not only accomplish your goals but exceed them, of that I am sure! One thing about setting goals with this group is you get so much more than you bargain for! That is great!!thanks everyone for the nice welcome and positive words! I feel stronger already! I can do it again! I know I can!

I will start a "my journey" post to keep me going...I always feel weired in sharing my feelings towards my goal and dream with people, but I guess this is the perfect place to feel understood...so thank u!

Welcome Ilaria! So glad to have you on board! Love it, another Italian! Glad you have posted and welcome to the family! No reason you cannot regain your treasure and life out your dreams! You DO have it in you and you will regain that motivation and drive once and for all! If you had it once, you will have it again, much easier than if you never had it at all~! Sounds like you have an amazing boyfriend and have all the support you need from loved ones, your family and your virtual family (us). Welcome! Im right there with you, the past is the past! We can only move forward!!!!!
Im right there with you on being so close to my goal, about 3 years ago I was in the same spot as you. So close to my goal and things happen and then you move on. But I have found myself in a very stable and supportive place, thanks in part to my amazing boyfriend, family and great friend Gina! It feels so good to have all of your 'main' people be on board with your decision to a healthy, fit lifestyle! I am honored and excited to share with everyone on here my journey.....Without a doubt I have been inspired on this site and I know you will feel it too! Such a strong support system here!

Always here when you need anything :)

Thanks Jess!...it just felt like I woke up one day and my dream was gone...and there I was as fat as ever!...I just panicked!...but like you say with time I found myself again and now I am stronger than ever!...

Hi Ilaria! I am new here and just read your intro post. I just wanted to let you know I am in EXACTLY the same situation as you! I also had a bad experience with a male coach and that has really thrown me off track! And earlier this year I got in great shape finally but it slipped and I have since gained back 6kgs of the 10kgs that I lost, so I feel ya!
But you know we did it once and we can do it again! we just have to be super careful this time to accept our new selves when we have reached our goals and to know that we deserve to stay there!!

So as they say in NZ "Kia Kaha" be strong!:)

Helen, KIA KAHA, love it! Thanks for posting and sounds like you already have found similar experiences, the short time you have been browsing... We are all in the same boat and all have our ups and downs and you are absolutely right, once you have done it once, it CAN be done again, with proper planning and awareness! Accepting yourself for who you are, what you can overcome and know that you made it and deserve every moment of gratitude! Pat yourself on the back, every now and then, and appreciate you for who you are and own it! You are so right, be confident that you deserve how far you have come!! :)

Congratulations on all your success thus far and good for you for moving past a minor hurdle and taking a handle on the situation!
