    Jess, Wow, what a fun night you had and once again, mission accomplished! You little Dancing Diva you! Not only bypassed the cupcakes and champagne but got creative and made your own shrimp salad! That's my girl!! Loved how you put your red bull in your glass too! I use to put my water in my wine glass, while in prep mode! Hey, it is all those little tricks that actually work!! Jess, I am so proud of you! I am so glad you are still allowing yourself to have fun and actually testing yourself and putting yourself in situations that challenging your will power and you are winning every time! Putting yourself in different situations only makes you realize that you can do this and you can do that and you CAN STILL STAY ON TRACK! We all have choices and I am so so darn proud of you for all the choices you have been making! 10 weeks manana! Can't wait to see you and track more of your progress with the ladies! Keep up the great work!! xoxo

    hey jess, sounds like a fun night out!
    I went out with some girls at 12 weeks out and the only thing that bothered me was my hunger after 5 hours of dancing (had forgotten to bring some almonds with me)... *rofl*

    but this party and dancing gave me a little push for my diet. :-)

    10 weeks out...
    maybe I overread it, but do you plan a comp or is your date just for you?

    THE SAN DIEGO comp. 10 weeks out today..and I was only away from my food for 3 hours, ate in the car on the way there and on the way back,,I never leave the house without food!! hahaha

    YES IT IS 10:45PM! WHAT THE HECK AM I DOING UP STILL! I WAS SO HELL BENT ON A-GETTING A NAP TODAY (DIDNT HAPPEN AND B-GOING TO BED EARLY ( CLEARLY HASNT HAPPENED)

    BUT ANYWAYS JUST WANTED TO SHARE THAT TODAY IS ACTUALLY 10 WEEKS OUT AND I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS LAST HOME STRETCH! PLEASE LET IT GO BY FAST AND SMOOTH! I FEEL LIKE I TOTALY HAVE THE PREP THING DOWN, IT;S JUST ALOT OF WORK..OR SHOULD I SAY TIME. I LOVE COOKING AND BEING IN THE KITCHEN SO THATS GOOD I GUESS!
    TONIGHT'S DINNER WAS AWESOME! I MADE TURKEY BURGERS! I WILL HAVE TO POST IT TOMORROW....WITH SAUTED GREEN BEANS WITH SPICY CAYENNE PEPPER AND SOME SAUTED ZUCCHINI! YUM YUM! OH AND I MADE MYSLEF A BLENDED MARGARITA! WHAT'S THAT U SAY?!! YES MY CLIENT BROUGHT ME IN THESE SUGAR FREE/ CALORIE FREE MARG. MIXES! THEY ARE MADE WITH SPLENDA! I PUT IT IN THE MAGIC BULLET WITH A TON OF ICE AND POURED IT INTO A MARG GLASS, AND LET ME TELL U!!!!! IT TASTED JUST LIKE THE REAL THING!! SO DELICIOUS!     GOOD MORNING LADIES TODAY MARKS DAY 54 OF MY DIET AND TRAINING!! HOLY COW, THAT WENT BY SOOO FAST! I AM ON A ROLL, I HAVE THINGS DOWN NOW. I WAKE UP BEFORE MY ALARM AND JUST CRAVE MY COFFEE AND CAN'T WAIT TO GET TO THE GYMA AND BANG OUT MY CARDIO AND WEIGHTS! I LEAVE THE GYM FEELING SO ACCOMPLISHED AND STRONG, AND THE ENERGY JUST KEEPS ME GOING ALLL DAY! NOT TO SYA THAT AROUND 4:00 IM GETTING A LITTLE LOW ON ENERGY BUT I ALWAYS MANAGE TO GET THROUGH THE DAY! YESTERDAY WAS A REALLY LONG DAY FOR ME: UP AT 5:45 COFFEE, WALK LAYLA..GYM CARDIO 45/30 ABS BIKE RIDE BACK HOME :) ( I LOVE 3 BLOCKS FROM MY GYM) MEAL 1-BAKED A HUGE DISH OF ROASTED BRUSEL SPROUTS (YUM)..AND HEADED IN TO THE SALON AT 11...HAD A FULL DAY, NOT GETTING OFF TIL 8:00, HOME BY 8:30- TAKE LAYLA OUT EAT MY LAST MEAL, SKYPE MY BF AND OFF TO BED BY 10:30PM! WHEEWWW LONG ASS DAY!

    BUT THATS WHY BEING PREPARED IS SO KEY TO THIS PROCESS! GINA REALLY STRESSED THIS AND I HAVE REALLY TRIED TO MAKE SURE I AM ALWAYS PREPARED. ESPECIALLY FOR THE REALLY LONG DAYS I HAVE SOMETIMES! LUCKILY EVERYDAY IS NOT LIKE THIS :)
    FINALLY DROPPED ANOTHER POUND! DOWN TO 138.7 NOW AND I KNEW IT, I FEEL SO GOOD, LOVING THE WAY MY BODY LOOKS RIGHT NOW :) MY LEGS STILL BUG ME A BIT BUT WHO DOESN'T HAVE A BODY PART THEY WOULD CHANGE, I KNOW WHEN I LEAN OUT A BIT MORE THEY WILL LOOK PERFECT! BETTER FOR ME TO CONCENTRATE ON MY GOOD AREAS AND REALLY MAKE THOSE COUNT, RATHER THEN FOCUS ON MY WEEKNESES...

    I THINK THERE IS ANOTHER GIRL IN MY GYM GETTING READY FOR A SHOW, PROB THE SAME ONE IM DOING :) I THINK SHE COMPETED LAST YR. IN IT AND IT WAS HER 1ST SHOW. SHE LOOKED GREAT LAST YR. BUT NOW SHE STILL LOOKS GREAT JUST A BIT MORE SOFT. BUT I LOVE HOW SHE ROCKS THE CUTE SPORTS BRA AND MATCHING SHORTS, NOTHING LIKE A GREAT GYM OUTFIT TO GET YOU FEELIN CUTE!! I'VE TOLD MY SELF FOR EVERY POUND I LOOSE I GET A NEW WORKOUT TOP OR SHORT OR HEADBAND OR SOMETHING!! :) SO I GET TO WATCH HER TRAIN AND IT KEEPS ME MOTIVATED!!

    IT WILL NEVER CEASE TO AMAZE ME THE AMOUNT OF TIME I SEE SOME OF THE REGULARS AT THE GYM AND THEY NEVER CHANGE OR IMPROVE...ALWAYS LOOK THE SAME AND NOT IN A GOOD WAY :( THEY ARE IN THERE KILLING IT ON CARDIO AND HITTING THE WEIGHTS (SOME OF THEM) BUT CLEARLY THEIR DIET IS NOT ON POINT! I HAVE BEEN WATCHING THIS ONE GIRL TRAIN WITH THIS TRAINER FOR A FEW WEEKS NOW AND I ACTUALLY THINK SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE HAS GAINED A FEW!!!! NO BUENO! AND THIS IS NOT TO SAY THAT THESE PEOPLE AREN'T HAPPY JUST THE WAY THEY ARE, BUT COME ON IF YOU ARE SPENDING THAT MUCH TIME IN THE GYM, YOU OBVIOUSLY WANT TO LOOK FIT!? RIGHT?!! NUTRITION IS KEY!!!!

    BOY DID I MAKE UP FOR NOT POSTING FOR A FEW DAYS :) LOL!!!! SO END OF WEEK 8 IS ALMOST HERE, 9 MORE WEEKS TO GO! GINA TELLS ME A FEW OTHER GIRLS HERE ARE GETTING READY FOR THE SAN DIEGO SHOW TOO!! SO AWESOME WE WILL ALL HAVE OUR OWN LITTLE GA GROUP!! HOW COOL IS THAT?! GO TEAM G-FIT!!

    STAY FOCUSED LADIES AND KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE PRIZE!! I RECENTLY ADDED SOME MORE TO MY MOTIVATIONAL BOARD!! KEEP THE POSITIVE ENERGY UP!

    AND A SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO OUR GIRL ERIN!!! YOU ARE RIGHT THERE WOMAN, HOPE YOU ARE REALLY ENJOYING YOUR LAST FEW DAYS! IM THINKING OF YOU DAILY!!!! KEEP PUSHING!!

    Wow, that was an awesome update! Thanks for keeping everyone posted on your amazing journey, Jess! You are nailing it with your preparation and being sure that you are as prepared as you can be, hence your continued success! I am excited for you to keep adding that positive energy to your vision board, we will have to check that out soon! Also, good for you for keeping your glass half full and focusing on your rocking body parts and strengths rather than you personal weaknesses! We all have areas we want to work on but we also have areas we are in love with so rock those with your socks off! ;)

    Isn't it crazy and sad when you know people are working their booties off yet not obtaining the results they want... yes nutrition is KEY and there is a missing puzzle piece in their puzzle... you have to have all the pieces to complete the puzzle and it takes some longer than others to find that missing link. Hopefully they do ... Nutrition, training, cardio, proper supplementation, patience and consistency!!

    You go girl, down anther lb and love that you have a little reward system going for each lb! :)

    Hey everyone :) So yes ran into Gina this am at World's..I was having a great shoulder workout and enjoyed the little break to chat with my coach! Always so inspiring :) Love u G!
    Today is officially 9 weeks out from Border States!!!! Wohoooo And day 57 of my nutrition and workout plan! Feelin smaller and leaner by the day :) And man does it feel good to have that extra weight off! Im am so happy with the way I feel right now, everything is better..My skin is so clear and my hair and nails are growing faster :) And hey I can wear anything I want right now!!! That's the best feeling ever!

    I think it actually just clicked today (litterally) that this IS the way to LIVE!!! Not just to get "show" ready.... i told Gina I am officially a mini her..Loving my green beans and broiled Fish!! Just made a batch of green bean fries! YUMMMMM why didn't I start "burning" them before..so yummy!!!!

    Had a new client today, her name is Lucy and I love her already! I can tell she is ready to learn the ways of the weights!! And I have front row seats at her transformation show :) Great job today girl! We had a great shoulder, little upper chest and tri-cep workout! and Im looking forward to getting to know her more and for LEG day tomorrow :) My personal favorite!!!

    And to all the girls getting ready for the Border States here we go..9 more weeks! Dig deep and make everyday count!! Nothing like some good ole' friendly competition!!

    And Erin woman, please give us a little something?!! A little pic?? Come on I know how you were looking a few weeks ago, so I can only imagine how smoking you are looking now!!! Keep it up and keep diggin deep! Thinking of ya!! Sorry I wont be there to cheer you on, my man gets home 2 days before that and I haven't seen him in 3 months!!!!

    Thank you Jess! Looking forward to tomorrow's leg workoutand my tank top tomorrow (yikes!!!)! The shoulder soreness started kicking in this evening, I opted to end my day with a long walk with my pup. I love that comment, "front row seats at my transformation show"!!! I love that comment! Thank you! I can't wait, but remind me from time to time that it is a marathon and not a sprint.

    OK so all you ladies need to know this... JESS's pictures on the website do her NO JUSTICE!!! She is smokin hot and cut! I want those arms!!!

    See you in the morning! I hear Nikee will be getting her sweat in early tomorrow morning too! Like you said Jess, this party is getting started!

    Thanks Jess for the awesome leg workout!! Jess is a fantastic trainer, she's very hands on and pays attention to the details. This is extremely helpful since I don't know what and where I should be feeling the exercise. Her positive attitude and energy is contagious and I believe her enthusiasm is much to blame for the great week I am having so far!! Feeling very focused, happy and on track. Jess has created a log for my workouts which is extremely useful and I feel like we have a great plan for the remainder of the week. I'm sore already from today's leg session. Back/bi/abs tomorrow with Jess, can't wait! Thanks again! See you in the am with my razor back tank top!

    -1ST UP AT 4:30 TO HAVE MY COFFEE AND TAKE LAYLA OUT
    -HIT THE GYM FOR MY CARDIO :)

BUT THE SWEETNER MUST HAVE UPSET MY STOMACH BECAUSE I WAS RUNNING TO THE BATHROOOM EVERY 10-15 MIN AFTER!! IF U KNOW WHAT I MEAN :( NEEDLESS TO SAY I COULDN'T EVEN MAKE IT THROUGH MY WHOLE WALK WITH LAYLA, HAD TO STOP OFF TWICE TO GO! AHHHHH..GOT HOME AND WAS LIKE THERE IS NO FREAKING WAY IM GOING TO THE GYM FOR PM CARDIO AND HAVING TO STOP EVERY 10 MIN :( SO NOT COOL

    SO I MADE IT TO SLEEP EARLY AND GOT A FULL 8 HOURS!

    IM GOING TO MAKE TODAY MY CARDIO AND DEEP STRETCHING DAY..WITH FOCUS ON DRINKING AS MUCH H20 AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE..I SEE SOME OF THESE LADIES GETTING UPWARDS OF 2 GALLONS IN..I STILL STRUGGLE WITH ONE!! SO HERE'S TO A BEAUTIFUL DAY.

    AND A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO EVERYONE ON HERE THAT HAS LEFT ME ANY SORT OF MESSAGE, WITHOUT THIS FORUM AND PLACE TO "JOURNAL" EVERYTHING, I DON'T THINK I WOULD BE AS SUCCESSFUL WITH THIS WHOLE PROCESS! I LOVE THAT I FEEL LIKE I HAVE A TEAM OF SUPPORT! AND THAT MEANS EVERYTHING :) I FEEL 100% BETTER ALREADY AND OF COURSE TODAY IS A NEW DAY AND IM READY TO TAKE ON THE WORLD!     Hey Jess! Sorry you ended up sick yesterday, with all my food allergies I feel your pain and have been there. When those days happen to me, i find any additional activity just isn't productive. You're body needs to recover. You mentioned drinking extra water, in addition to the 1 gallon a day, that made me wonder is it possible to have too much water? 1 gallon already seems like a lot of water, just wondering what the extra amounts of water do for you.
    Once again, I had an awesome workout yesterday! I think that was our best session yet! What a difference the details make! My experience in the weight room in the past consisted of doing the exercises but I definitely wasn't connecting with the muscle like you teach. Perhaps that could have been another source of sooo much frustration, I was there trying to do the work but just spinning my wheels because I wasn't connecting.
    Hope you are feeling better today and get some rockin cardio sessions in!!

    Jess, First of all, glad you got some rest and second, so sorry about the margarita mix. What all that and not even a buzz.... :( There are so many "sugar free" this and
    "sugar free" that but the reality is all the fillers are almost not worth the fact that they are calorie and sugar free!!
    BEWARE:

    Seem so great but in the end SOOOO not worth the bloat, GI issues and yes, running to the bathroom is no fun!!! You are 1/2 way through Jess, Time flew and now the next 1/2 is going to fly too, enjoy it!! You are doing so awesome and all these episodes, feelings, epiphanies you are having are meaningful and will NEVER be forgotten! Don't let any moment pass without giving it deep thought because everything you are experiencing and feeling are huge lessons for life! When you are in the midst of a prep, you are so in tune with your body that you are able to

    Water and rest it is for you! No more margaritas for you!! Soon enough, the real thing is waiting! 9 more weeks and so much to celebrate! :)

    Hey Jess! Just wanted to say I'm loving following your blog. It was so nice to meet you at the Pacific USA... so glad to hear you're enjoying your moments and journey. I loved your post about how you were doing cardio and stopped and got teary eyed thinking about all of your hard work... it's so amazing, isn't it?! I'm so sorry to hear about your upset stomach but it sounds like you recovered super fast - you GO girl! :)

    Ooh, Jess...so sorry to hear about your bad reaction to your margarita!!! I FEEL your pain. Same thing happened to me a couple of times. I've learned my lesson with that sugar free cal free stuff. Not to be done in excess. But the good thing is that you got a lot of sleep AND you have a sparkly clean home!!! So YAY!! Hope you're feeling better and you must be getting excited for your man to come home!! So happy for you.

    Team G-Fit is ROCKING it! Can't wait to come to Border States since there are so many girls from this site competing there? Team G-Fit is going to blow their socks off! WATCH OUT NOW!!!

HE WAS ALL FOR IT WHEN I WANTED TO GET STARTED, SO LET'S SEE HOW HE ADJUSTS TO ALL MY EATING, COOKING AND CLEANING NOW THAT HE IS HOME WITH ME!! ALREADY YESTERDAY, HE MADE A FEW COMMENTS LIKE "WHAT ARE YOU EATING NOW?", AND "ARE YOU REALLY GONNA EAT ALL THOSE VEGGIES?" LOL IF ONLY HE KNEW, WHAT IM EATING THE ENTIRE DAY!!! WELL, IM DOWN TO THE LAST 7 WEEKS HERE AND IT'S ONLY GONNA GET TIGHTER.... EITHER JOIN IN OR KEEP ON SUPPORTING ME RIGHT!? BUT SERIOUSLY, I AM SO LUCKY TO HAVE HIM AROUND! HE REALLY IS THE BEST SUPPORT SYSTEM EVER! ALWAYS PUSHING ME TO BE MY BEST!

    HOPE EVERYONE IS HAVING A GREAT WEEK, WISH I WAS HEADING UP TO THE L.A. SHOW THIS WEEKEND WITH SOME OF YOU LADIES, BUT IT'S HIS 1ST WEEKEND BACK IN TOWN...GOOD LUCK TO THE ONE'S IN THE SHOW!! I WILL BE THINKING OF YOU ALL!!!! CAN'T WAIT FOR THE PICS AND NEWS FROM POST SHOW!!!!! XOXOXOXXOJB
